"For the Guardians! For Ga'hoole! For Soren, for Twilight, Coryn, Gylfie, Digger! For Lyze! For Boron and all the leaders! For those who have died before us!" She sliced we way through a storm, the lightning shock surfing through her. Snowfeather joined the chant, "Stix Struma!" Nyrth joined in, "Hoole!" Myuflc shrieked into the air, "Otulissia!" Soon the warriors were cheering their idols into the battlefield, their spirits warming their gizzards.

'For Hoole! For Grank and Theo! For Coryn! For Lyze of Kiel!' Aquila shouted, yelling the names of his five most idolized owls. He swung his burning branch at a Pure One, knocking them down. He set another on fire, then flung it back into its comrade, sending them both down in a fiery fall.

Baefyre - Male Snowy - Guardian Warrior
He groans as Althea lands and starts to freak out, but couldn't speak, his wounds hurt too much and he was too tired to move, he had lost too much blood. He peeks an eye open and looks over at Althea, his love ever since he arrived at the Great Tree years ago. He forces his beak to move as the healer starts to work on his wounds, "I..... Love.... You.... My... Queen." He sighs deeply as his back starts to feel slightly better thanks to the healer.

Nitra - Female Tyto - Pure One Warrior
She flies over to him and lands next to him on the branch, "I'm changing places with Caedis, the healer's making him stay at the caves so I put him in charge of the owlets." She gives him a glare, but not a disrespectful one, "You know I hate those guards, I was about to slaughter them all when Caedis came back and saved their lives by letting me leave." She grumbles and starts to look over his wounded belly, "It's not so bad, a few missing feathers and a rather nasty cut, but otherwise alright, you won't bleed to death."

Althea, her tears of sorrow now replaced by ones of utter joy to see Baefyre alive, huddled over the bleeding figure of the Snowy. She watched intently as the medic went about patching him up. She leaned over, her body a living shield to protect him against the weather and the constant drone of approaching enemies clashing with soldiers. The rain beat down on her, washing the blood that stained her wings. Flashes of lightning escorted by loud crashes of thunder could be heard rolling of the tongues of the clouds above, now grey.

Her gizzard soared as he managed to utter his true affections through the pain, but despite her happiness all she cared about now was his well being. She placed a talon over his beak carefully and gave a soothing 'shh' to him. "Rest now, Baefyre. Do not waste your strength on words."

She heard the familiar scree of a Masked owl, she spun around to see one diving at her, scimitar extended menacingly. The queen raced at him, matching his speed and ferocity with a fiery passion. She thrust her talons up to his neck and with an expert jerk to the right, had snapped his neck, a quick and nearly painless death. No owl deserved their last memories to be painful ones. None.

MEMBER OF THE MONTH

Amtera is a kind member that never fails to turn up an inspiring post that contributes greatly to our roleplay experience. Recently, she actually went out of her way to help another member and took the time to send them a PM with all the details she needed without mentioning her own good deed.

Although it is early in this new era and there is still much to learn about Amtera, we are still thankful of all she has done for us in this past two weeks or so and would like to thank her for her roleplaying efforts.
