Faithstar looked at her clan, happy to be seeing some smile for the guests, and smiles of happiness for the return of Vinepaw. "Alright then, every cat. We'll be heading off to the gathering soon. Obviously, Emeraldsky, Nightwing and I will have to attend, and we will be bringing the newly appointed apprentices and warriors with us," Faithstar looked down at her deputy Nightwing, who was with Swanfoot. "Nightwing will select seven of our other members to also come to the gathering."

Larkwillow smiled at the memory of Thornfang's brother, Vinepaw. The she-cat hadn't ever been as close as friends with Vinepaw as she was with Thornfang, but Larkwillow felt happy for her crush that his brother had returned. Larkwillow remembered Thornfang's grief when he was first captured by the Two-Legs. Perhaps he'll be joining us in the gathering! That would be nice.

Rowanlog glanced over at the clan's deputy, eyeing him with grumpiness. If it weren't for you insisting that Deathshade become an elder, Nightwing, he could be training to serve his clan. He'd work within his abilities, and I'd protect him with my life. It isn't fair what's been done to my poor son.

Pepper nodded, picking the borage back up. She trotted away, entering Emeraldsky's medicine den. The black she-cat found a place to rest her borage next to the cobwebs, and she hen turned around, quickly padding towards the medicine cat again. She seated herself next to Emeraldsky, and she watched the leader speak, listening carefully. "A gathering?" she whispered to Emeraldsky. "You're going to a gathering? What are those?"





Lionlight nodded in agreement to what Mossheart said. "I'm so proud of my beloved, too," he murmured, a glimmer of grief and sorrow flickering in his eyes. I wonder if Swanfoot's going to the gathering? he thought, shooting a weak smile at Mossheart to hopefully make her think that he was fine. It's been a while since I've talked to her.

Nightwing yawned loudly shooting a playful glare to Swanfoot. "OK ok. Mean." The dark room slipped back into the cleaning looking around, nodding to his hyper apprectice. "Flamepaw, Swiftclaw, Leaftail, Scarletpaw, Dagger and Pepper. How about you lot join us. We will be leaving shortly, be in your best behavior. That means you Flamepaw." The dark room growled, shooting a glar in his apprentice's direction. "Almost everyone is busy, our group will be small but this, along with the new warriors and new apprentices we should be good."

Watereyes sat in StarClan, quietly licking his paw. He yawned and looked around, wishing Shadow was here. He padded into the meadow, and then to Lionlight. "Hello."

(@Whale_Shark- Yep, what KabukiKinz said. I just figured that it would be more realistic is they didn't come, considering LeafClan and ThornClan might become suspicious if two cats with names that aren't clan names come to the gathering. We'll bring Flamepaw, Swiftclaw, Leaftail and Scarletpaw, but I'll make Faithstar choose three other cats so that we have 15 of HopeClan's cats coming. Woohoo.

@KabukiKinz- I don't think OcelotDragon is active anymore, right? I don't think you should risk bringing it back without the permission of Ocelot (and it doesn't seem you'll be able to get it anytime soon). But, we could pretend BoneClan disbanded, and you can make an entirely new band of rogues that are descended from them. If you wish to do this, please note that they will be put on the front page, but would be listed as a rogue band and wouldn't attend any gatherings.

@Thetigerwithin-- I think the last post you made was Thornfang becoming a warrior, right? In that case, all that's happened since you left was Applepaw and Ivypaw beocming apprentices, Deathshade(Lionkit) retiring early to the elder's den and getting his name changed, a few announcements said by Faithstar which can be found by going back through posts I made on here, and an announcement for a gathering. @Lion's Mighty Roar- Welcome back! Like Lion said, she will be reposting her forms when Leaf-Bare comes, because I will open HopeClan up to new members again by that time. I closed it initially to keep the active roleplayers continuing so we may get onto the nice, juicy plot, as many people would join and then quit or not post. However, I think we have a good amount of active players, and by that time I hope we will be ready to receive new members!)

Faithstar nodded at her deputy. "Excellent choices, Nightwing. I will also select a few myself," said Faithstar with a polite dip of her head. She looked at her clan, and straightened herself and erected her tail to clearly announce the cats who will also be coming. "(?Brackenstorm?,) Pinefrost, Scarletpaw, Flamepaw, Leaftail, and Swiftclaw will be coming as well. The following cats, the new warriors and apprentices, Emeraldsky, Nightwing, and I will be leaving immediately. But before we go, just a reminder to everyone that we will be sitting vigil for Mossheart tonight at Moon-High. Any cat that was close to her is asked to sleep the night with her this moon-high, and any cat that was close to her that is attending the gathering will join her when we return. Meeting dismissed." The sandy-coloured she-cat leaped down from Towering-Hill and began to walk towards the exit of the camp, she signaled with her tail for the cats who are going to the gathering to follow her.

Rowanlog watched the patrol go off, and he waved his tail in goodbye to Applepaw and Ivypaw. "have fun at the gatheirng!" he called to them merrily. I'll be here, with Deathshade. Rowanlog watched them go off with a snort. He turned around and walked over to the edge of the camp where his son sat. Rowanlog seated himself beside him, obvious anger pulsing through the air. "It isn't fair what Faithstar's done to you," he muttered in an angry tone to his son. 'You deserve more. Much more. And sadly, all those fox-hearts have too much dung in their brain to realize it." Rowanlog looked over at Deathshade, amber eyes narrowing, a hungry gleam in his eyes. We will get vengeance, my son. We most certainly will...

Leaftail smiled when Nightwing called his name to come to the gathering. I'll bring all the news form LeafClan and ThornClan to Silverstrike! Leaftail trotted near the back of the group, looking around at the oak trees that surrounded him. As they padded along, he could smell the faint scents of the other clan up ahead.

Flamepaw smiled, happy to be going to the gathering. He stood to his paws, stretched his back out, and then quickly followed behind the rest of the cats, heading for the gathering.

He nodded at the Tom picking him and his sister and he stood stretching gathering by the entrance. And when they left he was calm. He dropped back to talk to Leaftail "hey Leaftail, how's my mom and the kits?" He asked not really having time to go see them.

She purred at being chosen and nodded going to stand by her brother. And they headed out following the leader and deputy. This wasn't her first gathering and certainly not her last. She fell back to walk with the older newer warriors since they were her age.

Deathshade simply turned, his bad eye facing his father. "Oh please. Don't act all high and mighty with me father. Where were you when Mossheart died, when we where sick. Why didn't you visit us. I hardly knew who you where! "He turned to his father, matching pelt spiked and angry. "I don't care! Deathshade is a more fitting name, after all I'm supposed to be dead! Why bother with a useless kit. Ivypaw and Applepaw may love and forgive you but I never will." He pulled himself up, glaring at his father, small frame shaking with the pure rage he felt, darkness slipping in and capturing his small heart. "It's your fault Mossheart died in the first place."

Ivypaw was bouncing around happily, raving after his leader.

Night wing focused on trying to stay awake, wanting to go back to camp and curl up next to Swanfoot.

Mossheart let out a total of pain, looking through the water at her beloved and her son, weeping at what he said. No! Oh Rowanlog no, it wasn't his fault at all, but she couldn't tell him... She couldn't explain, she couldn't say goodbye, she could only curl up at the edge of the pool and cry. Watching as her mate, son and brother became consumed by the darkness.

Faithstar pricked her ears, hearing the sound of many pawsteps stepping through the undergrowth behind her. Faithstar looked back, seeing all of her cats following her, or running to catch up. Now that they were out of the camp which was inside a large hollowed-out cliff, Faithstar could see the sky through the trees of the oak leaves. The moon was nearly at it's peak, and Faithstar hurried her pace. She knew cats were still trying to catch up to the patrol, but Faithstar didn't wish to be late to the gathering. They'll catch up easily if they run. I just need to focus on making my clan arrive on time.

Rowanlog looked at Deathshade, no surprise in his eyes. "Of course you believe it's all my fault. And I'll let you believe what you wish. But I always visited you. But you were always either asleep or too sickly to notice," he said, looking away from his son. His expression was blank, and any icy aura surrounded him. his spoke again, tone sarcastic and bitter. "Of course it's my fault Mossheart died. That's what you all think. But I'm no medicine cat. I have no power over whether StarClan would take her or not. You may blame me, but I did no worse to her than you, dear Deathshade." Rowanlog watched Faithstar go off, sinking his claws into the soil in fury. My son hates me. Mossheart could care less about what happens to us. And Faithstar doesn't realize how much pain she's caused this family, Rowanlog let out a low growl from deep in his throat, bristling his fur. StarClan, you are worthless traitors. You let doom cloud my family. Yu stripped everything away from me. You let Lionkit take the name Deathshade. And to make you pay, I will strip all the remaining lives that you gave our precious leader away, and I will not stop trying until I finally slink off into the Place of no Stars.

Leaftail turned to Swiftclaw, smiling at the mention of his mate and the kits. "Both are great!" he murmured joyously as he padded along through the Oak Forest. "It was a really unusually big litter, and Silverstrike isn't the youngest mom, so it was a bit tough for her through the kitting. But she's fine now. All six are healthy, thank StarClan. None seem to have any disabilities like Ivypaw, Joykit, or Deathshade. I hope StarClan will bless my family with good health."
