Ominous Fog that Swallows Land

Fog's eyes widened as she listened, not wanting to get in trouble the other strange cats. Who knows what they would do? she thought. When the stranger asked her to come out of her corner, she stared at him, scared. After laying in the corner for a couple seconds more, Fog's curiosity got the best of her. She cautiously took a few steps toward the strange tom cat and sat down, curling her tail around her paws. Fog peppered him with questions "Where am I? Who are you? Where is my twoleg? And why do these plants smell funny?" As she said the last one, she bent over and nudged one of the leaves by her feet with her nose, before sneezing again and looking back at the stranger.
