Mothkit's brown eyes glowed! "I think so!" He quickly groomed his sister's fur and she groomed his before making their way up front.

"Today we will be continuing our traditions by making two of our kits apprentice. Frozenkit, Mothkit, please step forward." Sandstar meowed. The two kits did so, and she smiled seeing that tbe two kits' pelts were sleek after being licked down. "Frozenkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Frozenpae. Your mentor will be Lynxclaw. I hope Lynxclaw will pass down all she knows on to you." The leader's gaze turned to Lynxclaw. "Lynxclaw, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have shown yourself to be courageous and quick witted. You will be the mentor of Frozenkit, and I expect you to pass on all you know to her." The leader wsited for the two to touch noses to continue.

Before Lynxclaw could respond, she heard her name. her ears perked up as she got to her paws. She dipped her head to Sandstar quickly "Of course." she meowed, smiling down at the young apprentice. Quickly she leaned down, touching her nose to Frozenkit's. Before stepping back. She patted the earth with her tail, inviting her apprentice to take a spot next to her.

Thistlekit got to his paws and lashed his tail, he could feel the slight bubbling of blood as she drug her claws across his muzzle "It's supposed to be claws sheathed!" he hissed, his short legs stiff, his fur bristling, but he said nothing. Just looked at the young she-kit. She had spunk, he would give her that. "Alright, I suppose you could beat a kittypet" he meowed, his tail flicking. He could keep going but he wasn't stupid enough to tire himself out before walking back to camp... or exploring.

Adderbite felt Goldstripe's fur brush against hers and a purr rumbled from his throat. He rasped his tongue gently along her ear "How was training?" he asked, his voice soft.

Frozenpaw touched her pink nose to her mentors, and for once she was truly happy. She had been accepted as an apprentice. A quiet purr rumbled in the white she-car's throat as she sat down next to her new mentor.

Sandstar continued to speak. "Mothkit, from this day on until you recieve your warrior name you will be known as Mothpaw. Hickorygale, it's time that you get an apprentice. You've shown yourself as selfless and bright spirited. You will mentor Mothpaw, and I expect you will pass on all you know to him."

Spikeflame watched silently from his spot beside Stormflight. He sighed slightly.

Stormflight (mobile):

Stormflight glanced at Spikeflame "ypu alright?" he asked, watching the tom.

Thistlekit:

Thistlekit glared after her but he had to admit that Maplekit was definitely interesting. "Psh, mad? I could beat you if I really wanted to." he hissed as he trotted after her "lets explore then!" he meowed.

Adderbite:

Adderbite let out a purr "I am glad. Think you could take a break and hunt with me?" he meowed, his voice low. His stomach rumbled but he wanted to spend time with Goldstripe.

Stormpaw turned her icy gaze from the leader and the two new apprentices, and switched it up towards her mentor. Perking her ears, the smaller felines listened as Goldstripe said that she'd be going hunting with Adderbite. Guess training is done for the day. That wasn't too bad. With a short and simple nod, the apprentice didn't question anything, "Um, okay. Have fun." Her neutral ton was flat and bored. Standing from her spot towards the back of the clan, the molly left her leader and the other warrior and went in search of something to occupy her time. It, after all, wasn't even that late in the day. She still had lots of time and energy to burn. Maybe I'll just go rest, I think I've earned it. With her decision made, the she-cat found a sunny patch to rest in. Allowing the warm golden rays of the sun to soak deep into her pelt, heating her till she figured her muscles were melting into her bones.
