The she-cat scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Don't be pathetic, mother." she spat back, flattening her ears against her head and scowling at Silversun. "You will never be my mother, no matter how many times you say you are. I'm not having a pathetic softy as a mother, especially one who carelessly had forbidden romance." she growled.

Lilypaw woke up and fluffed out her tail to recieve warmth.The she~cat stretched and shook herself.She padded over to Greypaw and poked him to get him awake.

He felt Lilypaw prodding him in his ribs and quickly blinked open his forest green eyes. "Lilypaw, why don't you ever let me..." he was going to say rest before he dozed off again.

The tom moaned in agony and shot up in his nest. "What was that for?" he grumbled, and gave a small yawn. He then looked at Lilypaw. "Why did you wake me up? What's so important that it couldn't wait?" he asked, a bit impatiently.

Greypaw nodded, jumping to his paws. Suddenly, he had a lot of energy. He smiled at her playfully. "Race you to the camp entrance!" he called over his shoulder as he dashed out of the apprentice's den. He sprinted over to the camp entrance as quick as he could.

The tom flicked his striped tail dismissively as he headed in the direction that Dewpaw had indicated for him to go. Finding the orange tom wasn't his top priority, but he knew that Dewpaw wanted him to be found before they went back to camp. ''Foxpaw! Where are you,'' the tom called out as his tail lashed back and forth in agitation. He felt like the other apprentice was acting too immature after the whole situation with the deer. ''We're heading back to camp with or without you,'' Cedarpaw added in a slightly gruff voice as he looked around the forest, trying to catch a glimpse of the other cat's bright pelt. He rolled his green eyes and let out an exasperated huff as he trudged forward.

He called over his shoulder, "No it's not unfair!" and he quickened his pace as he neared the entry of camp. When he reached it he skidded to a halt and turned around, facing Lilypaw. She's so beautiful with the wind in her fur... he thought and was shocked at what he was thinking. Do I... like... her? he wondered, his eyebrows furrowed.
