The tom flinched and swiped the leader away. He grabbed his friend's limp body and quickly ran into the crowd. 'I'm just lucky she doesn't know that I am like Amberstar; If I fall, I'm a goner!'

Hawkfeather nodded happily. He was glad that Fiercestirke was alright, but he felt like she was hiding something from him. He raised his chin. "Fiercestrike... are you keeping something from me? It sure looks like you are..." he asked quietly and then added, "It's okay if you are."

She opened her mouth to respond, to deny that she was keeping a secret but she couldn't. She wouldn't.
"Yes," she croaked, looking down with a sigh, "I am..hiding something. I did a bad thing---a really bad thing.."
But I was defending myself...right? I wasn't happy about it. No, of course not... she repeatedly told herself she wasn't happily a murderer. But she had seemed proud as she killed the horrible she-cat...

Hawkfeather narrowed his dark brown eyes at her. He slowly walked toward Fiercestrike with his eyes still slightly narrowed at her. He looked her into the eye as he asked her, "What is it you are keeping from me then?" he didn't know if he would ever be able to trust her again. He hoped he could because it would suck if he couldn't. After all, she was one of the closest of StormClan to him and he couldn't bear the thought of losing her. He wondered what was so important to her that she had to hide it from him. He waited impatiently for her to answer his question.

Cloverwing growled deeply at Fadedpaw, she swung her body and hissed. "Why should I even be fighting this apprentice off?!" She knew that other cats are in danger and they might need help.. She kicked dirt at Fadedpaw's eyes and then ran off quickly.She then noticed another Dark Forest cat running into the clearing so she lunged at the cat and furiously jumped on top of her, as she tried staying on top of the cat she dug her claws into the enemy's fur.

She felt horrible that she had kept a secret but she was still recovering from the horrible fight...imagine how he'd feel.
"I was in a battle..."
She started slowly, feeling bad, "I guess I was defending myself. But...I.."
Her voice cracked and she looked down and she said quietly, tears filling her eyes, "I...I killed her, Hawkfeater."
Fiercestrike felt like crying her eyes out but she didn't; she needed to be strong. She didn't know how he would respond but she was almost positive that anyone would hate her because of this, so wouldn't he, too?
