Adderbite stretched out on his side, the sun warming his pelt. He was glad the clouds hadn't covered the sky yet, it gave him a chance to relax his leg. He searched the clearing for his apprentice but couldn't see him, however, he spotted Acorntail headed his way. Quickly, he shifted himself and flicked his tail summoning his friend forward.

Thistlekit caught sight of Maplekit headed towards the clearing. Quickly, he trotted after her, his mother too distracted by the other kits. "Maplekit, wait!" he meowed, his tail flicking as he caught up to her.

Thistlekit flicked his tail at her "I don't want to be stuck back their" he meowed, his tail twitching. "So, I'll be joining you." he finished, dipping his head. He didn't wait for her response, instead, he caught up, his paw's falling in step with her.

Adderbite glanced back at his leg, his eyes staring at the scar "It's better. It still gets sore occasionally but... it isn't bad." he purred struggling to his paws. "You know, I think it's funny that you notice who everyone else is mooning after but can't even see the she-cat that is mooning after you." he chuckled, his eyes glancing passed him slightly.

Thistlekit flicked his tail "Nothing..." he mumbled under his breath. But he looked up at her with playful, challenging eyes. "If you think you can beat a kittypet why don't you prove it?" he meowed, trotting towards the clearing exit, his eyes shinning with defiance.

Moonfleck sat a short distance from the group, her eyes darting back and fourth. She stretched her muscles uncomfortably. She still hadn't gotten used to sleeping in the warriors den and struggled with muscle soreness in the morning. Luckily, the warmth was helping the soreness die away. Her eyes landed on Adderbite and Acorntail a short distance away, her claws unsheathing into the soft ground. With a defeated look she turned away towards the fresh kill pile, her stomach grumbling.

Adderbite flicked his tail towards where Moonfleck was digging into the fresh kill pile. "She follows you around like a kit" he meowed, his tail twitching slightly. "Haven't you noticed? She hardly talks to any cat but you." he meowed, his ears flicking forward.

(Stormflight can always go hunting with him. They suffer from the same issue as far as the extended canines.)

Like always, Spikeflame sat at the edge of camp, observing. As he often found himself doing, his gaze shifted to Stormflight. He studied that cat closely all the time, finding they were similar in some aspects.

"I'm going to head out for a hunt, I'll be back." he meowed softly, his pelt brushing hers. He spotted Spikeflame a short distance away. With a quick sureness, he trotted forward "Spikeflame, would you like to hunt?" he asked, his tail flicking.

Thistlekit flicked her nose with his tail, "Come on, mouse-brain, this close to camp and we'll get caught" he meowed, turning away from her and darting further into the forest, far enough away from the most recent scent of cat. With a sharp stop, he turned on his heels, meeting her gaze, his tail lashing behind him. "Alright, here is good!" he meowed playfully.
