Russetwing slowly awoke in the medicine cats den, her wounds aching.

Cherrypaw stood over Russetwing

Russetwing looked around, " How did I get here?" She asked her son, shakily trying to stand.

"Thank Starclan for his life. Soon all of us will meet him again there, just one by one." Dustwhisker said.

Dewfur licked her paw and ran it over her jagged ear, which was now split in half at the bottom.

"You collapsed," replied Cherrypaw, "Darkpaw and I took you here, it was from the scratches and stuff. It was really scary, Breezefur died, too."

LeafFall nodded, "how's Mudpelt?"

Russetwing shook her head, " I am sorry. What Breezfur died?" She mewed. She started limping toward the exit of the den, " I should go pay my respects" she meowed.

Cherrypaw looked at his mother, "be careful, should I help you? Should I pay my respects, too?"

Russetwing nodded, " I will be okay now that my wounds have been taken care of ( Pretend the medicine cat treated her) and yes, Breezefur died trying to save this clan, we should all pay our respects" she meowed.

Darkpaw dipped her head and followed her mother toward the place were the cats were gathered over Breezefur's body.
