Yara grunted as something hit his head, his eyes flying open, after a little while of course. "Stupid logs... If I see another I will... Wait... You're not a log." He cocked his head, blinking as he picked the pup up by the scruff. "So, what brings you to the ocean?"

The brindle greyhound puppy coughed violently and opened his eyes, looking up at Yara in fright. He was frightened by Yara's appearance...

[Solanum]

Yara blinked at the pup, smiling weakly. "Well... Looks like your stuck with me now. Get used to it... I have no idea how long we'll be out here." His eyes scanned the horizon for signs of a change in current, but there was none. They were being taken further and further from land... And Yara didn't have the strength to fight anymore...
He closed his eyes, tears forming in his eyes as he watched the horizon, his body being pulled along. He missed Shadow pack so much, and he hadn't even been gone for long, a day at the most. But it felt like an eternity... All he could do was hope Chako wouldn't come after him when InkJr told her the news...

"I-I'm scared...M-Mummy tried...to kill me..." The pup whined, trembling in fear. "...A-And she's k-killing my sister too..."

Yara frowned, looking up at the pup. "Oh... I'm sorry. Where is your sister? I can try and go back to see if she is in the water." He was already very tired and weak, but he wouldn't want another pup to have the same past as him... He had grown up alone, knowing that three of his siblings were dead and the other, his youngest brother, not even knowing that much... It was terrible. Not something he wanted another else to go through, although he couldn't really stop it.

"S-She's not in the water...M-Mummy put her on a tree..." The greyhound pup whimpered, trembling even harder. "...I'm scared..."

Yara sighed and whipped round, fighting against the current. He started breathing heavily as soon as he started to jump back in the direction they had been taken, not going very fast, but moving in the opposite direction. They might actually make it, if Yara's strength didn't give in before then...
