The classic tabby's green gaze stared towards the camp entrance that was off in the distance, and he managed to catch a glimpse of Spottedpaw's tortoishell coat between leaves as she entered camp. His black tipped ears pricked forward as he listened to Dewpaw speak. "I think that Spottedpaw went back to camp, but I have no idea where Foxpaw is," the tom mumbled around the pile of bright feathers that he carried in his mouth. "Maybe we should check in the places that the deer frequently visit on our territory," Cedarpaw suggested with a mischievous gleam in his eyes. He didn't want to anger Dewpaw again, so he hoped that she would have good humor about the joke.

She nodddd, raising her muzzle to see if she could possibly track Foxpaw's scent. At his words, her reaction was a cross between a chuckle and a huff. It came out sounding like a hmph, and she flashed him a glance. At this point, she wasn't going to get flustered again, but that didn't mean she was just going to roll around and laugh at the statement like a loopy squirrel. Her look seemed rather blank and emotionless, but it wasn't by any means harsh or annoyed looking. "He went off in that direction before." She pointed with her tail, "But his scent is faded so he must've traveled elsewhere."

She couldn't find her mentor anywhere, and she didn't ferl like doing any more hunting. She sat in her nest, and then started to groom herself. She didn't know why, but grooming herself in front of other cats made her uncomfortable.
