The tabby tom's maw was left gaping in shock, and his jade-green eyes gleamed with astonishment as he listened to both cats. He let out an irritated huff as the realization about what had just happened finally sunk in. He'd finally found another cat who didn't want to claw his ears off to hunt with, and the window of opportunity had just closed in his face. "B-b-butt," the tom tried to stop what was happening, but there was nothing that he could do about it. It was like she-cats had some sort of unwritten code or something. Cedarpaw found that it filled him with awe and irritation. "I already told you why Foxpaw bothered me, and you dismissed all of my complaints," the tom called after her unhappily.

Dewpaw didn't think anything was wrong with her, but then again she wasn't a medicine cat. I feel fine, I just need some sleep. She looked up at the tom, shrugging. "I guess a few poppyseeds wouldn't hurt." Its not like I need them, I could fall asleep standing up! She glanced towards camp and took a few steps forward before looking back at the classic tabby. "Coming?" She asked, almost forgetting to retrieve her squirrel. She snatched it from underneath a bush, waiting for feline.

The tabby tom looked nervously back towards where Spottedpaw had disappeared to go hunting. He knew that it wad rude to invite other cats hunting and then leave without saying anything to them. "Well, shouldn't we tell the others before we head back to camp," Cedarpaw asked softly. He turned as he carefully picked the colorful bird that He had caught earlier up with his jaws. The tom wanted to make sure that Dewpaw made it back to camp alright, but he would feel guilty about leaving the others. "It doesn't seem like a very good idea. What if they worry that something bad happened just because we didn't tell them?"
