Viperpaw's ears twitched as she heard Pebblerun's voice. She wrinkled her nose at the rank stench of Grinner's breath and coughed, but got to her paws. Her ears flattened instantly. "You made one mistake Grinner...you threatened the wrong she-cat," she growled and instantly her claws unsheathed. "And for the record, I'm not doing anything for you!" With that she yowled and struck out at him, her golden narrowed and she snarled. "I'm not helping you do ANYTHING TO HIM!" Her yowl echoed throughout with fury dancing in her eyes. Her movements were fluid and quick as she raked her claws down his flank. And like a spring from a trap, the minute Viperpaw attacked Demon was there, his claws unsheathed and his fangs barred as he raced out from his spot. "Kit!" His amber-orange eyes blazed like flaming coals as he pounced. Rage poured out from every hair on his pelt though what had caused it remained unknown. However it seemed Demon didn't care whatever the reason was as he snapped at the tom fiercely.

She sighed with soft relieaf but laughed softly as she watched Swallowpaw, "Good! Get him when he's not paying attention, easiest way to take down your opponent." SHe advised as she watched from the side. "use your smaller size against his, it makes you faster."

ThistleFang rolled his eyes but reminded himself to stay focused on Swallowpaw. "Though seeing as how distracting PetalFall can be, she is right. If you use your speed and your size you can topple any opponent, but just be careful not to get caught in their grip." He mewed as he tensed waiting for Swallowpaw to move. His pale amber eyes were bright and gleaming as he watched and waited intently.

Petalfall smirked, remembering the many training days they had with their two mentors along with Cloudstrikes and Racoonstrikes. How she used her own smaller frame and speed against her three friends when they would use their side and strength on her. She smiled with a soft sigh at the memory.

Swallowpaw crouched low and nodded, he sized up his mentor and circled him before dashing twords his feet, well made it look like that before leaping ontop of him.

Eaglestar crept closer, being sure to stay upwind, until she could see Demon and Viperpaw through the grass. She stopped, holding her tail out in front of her apprentice to signal that he should do the same. Her own sandy pelt blended in well with the grass, but she soon realized Shadowpaw's black fur would stand out like a beacon in the sea of gold. Careful not to make a sound, she moved to stand between him and the others, hoping to hide him. Satisfied that they wouldn't be detected, she watched Viperpaw and the rogue carefully. They were talking, though she couldn't quite hear the words. She didn't scent any blood; nobody had been injured yet.

Shadowpaw pricked his ears to watch the conversation with his ears, since his eyes were blocked. He tucked his sturdy legs under him, hoping that it'd prevent him from losing any balance. The young apprentice opened his mouth and tasted the air, checking to see who was here.Eaglestar, Pebblerun, Frostwing, Lightpaw,...ooh, I don't know who this cat is (Demon), Viperpaw..thank goodness, and-ugh, some smelly rogue (Grinner). He must be this Grinner everybody's been troubled by. Shadowpaw's emerald-green eyes gleam with excitement and curiosity of these two new cats.
