Murderers in Riverclan V.2 [Roster Update 10/30]

Willowpaw sat quietly in her nest, her mind racing with the past few day's events. How had it come to this? Everyone afraid to talk to each other, either for fear of being killed or suspected of doing the killings. Her only comfort was that the other Clans seemed to be non-the-wiser of RiverClan's turmoil, otherwise they might have tried invading with the Clan in tatters like this.
She glanced up as Stormpaw left, her heart sinking a bit as he didn't say a word to her. Before the kits had become apprentices and joined them in the den, she had felt like she and Stormpaw were inseparable, but now with everything that happened their friendship was also feeling the strain.
After a few moments, she got up and left the den herself, emerging into the overcast clearing. Cherrystar was on top of the pile of rocks they used to call Clan meetings, so she drifted over in that direction, hoping they were getting closer to figuring everything out.

Flypelt nodded, got up, and walked towards Mossflight. "You ready?" he cooly asked. and find the body of Puddlepounce? There was no escaping the fact that Puddlepounce was most likely dead, as what happened with her occured each time they discovered a cat was dead: they aren't in camp when the clan starts waking up without anyone knowing where they are, everyone starts to panic and they're discovered dead, so why panic over something you know, or most probably, the result of? It's just a waste of energy.

"As of today," said Cherrystar to those gathered near her, "no one will go outside of camp without at least one warrior to accompany them. This includes the warriors, medicine cats, my deputy, and yes, even myself. I would rather us being slightly inconvenienced than...hurt." She vowed to herself that if she did die, she would do her best to help her clanmates from Starclan. If she was exiled...she would find who the killer was and kill them. But hopefully, it wouldn't come to that. If Puddlepounce was dead, and she probably was, then hopefully they could root out the killer.

Flypelt's ear twitched to the direction of Cherrystar, then turned to her. "Wouldn't that give the murderer an advantage to be able to kill another cat? Sure, the murderer would be the prime suspect and most likely be exiled, but another life lost is still another life lost," he questioned. Did you not fully think this through, or did you not mention it for a reason?

Cherrystar sighed. Flypelt had made a good point. She didn't want anyone else to die in her clan. "Can you think of any other way to ensure our safety?" she asked, pleading with her eyes to make him understand. "Do you have a better idea? I would love to hear it." She wasn't being sarcastic, and really would want to hear any alternatives.
