Bandit
Bandit couldn't help but smile when his eyes met hers, those playful yet thoughtful golden depths automatically bringing out the reaction in her. Her smiled widened slightly when she realized that, and the mare looked away, her dark cheeks coloring slightly, though it was hard to tell under the chocolate mask. Feeling the breeze play around with her mane and tail, mussing it into spikes, Bandit quickly shook it out. She wasn't vain, no, not in a lifetime, but if the wind kicked her mane into spikes, well, that was just about the most annoying thing possible. Her gaze flashed to the stallion, this Halo again, a wry smirk twisting the line of her mouth. "Peculiar?" she asked lightly, laughter a bubbling undertone to her musical voice. The feathery tip of her long, catlike tail just brushed his side. "Why, thank you, kind sir." But then she laughed for real, her grin narrowing her eyes due to how wide it was as the clear notes rang out in the breeze. Her head followed his as he drew away. Now it was her turn to whisper in his ear. "That's because I am," she murmured secretively, the wind wreathing his scent around her. She drew back, rose-hued eyes playful as they met his. "And it seems you can be too," she added as an afterthought, the light dancing in her eyes and in her smile. Bandit couldn't help but laugh again, simply out of sheer pleasure; this was the happiest she'd been in a long, long time.
