She glared back, "Of course not, and that's sweet of you to compliment me. If your mentor has something to add, I'd be glad to hear it." She added innocently. "There is a darkness coming and I'm only preparing her for the worst, am I not, Thronpaw?"

"I am just as able to train my own apprentice. You have your own apprentice, splashpaw." Tanglefur growled. "Just because you think I mentored you badly doesn't mean you can train my own apprentice for me without my permission. You have your own apprentice." She stepped in front of thornpaw.

"Suit yourself," She lowered herself to Thornpaw's level, "Maybe one day, soon enough, I'll train you and Splashpaw together." She leaned closer to thornpaw, "Or we could try and teach your mentor how to have fun." And they both broke out in giggles.
