Grim stood, his large body blocking the entry completely. "Well, I've lived alone for the passed... forever." He rolled his eyes. "I never really had to worry about cleaning for company before yesterday." He shook his head. "So, open my eyes. Tell me what I did, what I need to atone for. For protecting myself? For refusing to join a group of monsters? For not eating puppies?" He narrowed his eyes. "Or for lying to you? What would you have done if I hadn't? You would have run, you all would. Because I'm a heartless, soulless demon. Because I'm the shadow outside your den, and the shiver doing down your spine." His voice became deep, barely between being words and snarls. His eyes glistened crimson, and he seemed much larger in the small space. "So leave me alone, as I should be... as I should always have been..." His face fell, and he moved away from the entrance, turning his back to her and lowering his head.

Donte shook his head. "They want the trees. And they'll keep cutting them down until it's all gone, until we have nothing left. We need something more... sneaky. More direct. We need to move toward them." He stood, his face set in grim determination. He didn't know how he was going to do it, but he knew that he had to, otherwise... he shuddered to think what would happen.

[Bill]

Darwin listened to both dogs ideas. Both sounded good to him, as long as they could save the humans and not get killed themselves. Darwin looked at Donte and said "I just don't know how we would do that.. humans are thick headed you know.. If we go with that plan, we may have to befriend some humans, but we have to make sure there the right humans. ones without guns." Darwin sighed. He knew it was going to be tough to save the humans. He then looked at Kiara, "Your right, we do need to move out of the other groups way. there not afraid to fight and i don't want to have to deal with that."

At the other groups den, lillie listened in to what scarlet and trip had been saying. ' so he isn't really who he said he was' she thought to herself. 'it clears a lot of things up... im still staying here, i want those humans GONE.' she muttered to herself

[Canair]

Scarlet looked at him. She walked towards his side quietly, licking it. "I guess I doubted you..." She said sighing. Scarlet wasn´t usually doing this sorts of things, but sometime´s she just felt sorry for some people, mainly those who have lead a very, very hard life in the past.

[Chaosin]

"But surely, we can just flee the forest as a last resort?" asked Kiara.She wasn't about to show her fear to these males, though he was her friend she still wasn't going to show she was weak, it was her determination and the fact that she was the only female in this small group of three that made her so stubborn.Though, if we did move closer, we could win the humans' trustlike Darwin said, she thought to herself.Or die that way.Kiara always hoped to die in a battle against something, or at least of old age.Not from a human's gun.Then she turned her mind onto the curious thought of if death was painful.Feeling off topic, she continued to listen to what Donte and Darwin had to say.

Donte nodded his head. He had finally formed a complete plan. "We could set something up. Save one of the humans, or even a group of them! They'll thank us, and we can show them what they're doing!" He stood quickly, his tail high in the air. "We need to move soon, away from the other group. We can't afford to have them find out." He grabbed the leftover badger, and looked to Kiara and Darwin. "Where to? Darwin, you know where they are, right?"

Grim was shocked when he felt her tongue and not her teeth. He looked at her, and then back down. "You should. You all should." He looked out the entry to the den, and spotted Lillie. His eyes burned into her, letting her know that he planned on speaking with her later. "Are you still leaving?" He spoke quietly to Scarlet, not wanting Lillie to hear them.

[Canair]

"Not yet," Scarlet replied looking at him. "I guess we just never knew your were lying," She added quickly and flicked her tail against the side of the den. Scarlet looked at Grim, looking at him softly, smiling.

Grim shrugged. "Which lie." He spoke bitterly, more at himself than anything. "I need to speak to Lillie. And, Scarlet?" He took a deep breath. "I hope you stay, I could use your help." He laid down, licking at his leg wound again.

[Canair]

"Feel free to do so," Scarlet replied, "Stop touching your leg!" She walked outside, sitting on a rock close to Grim´s den and started to lick her paw. She looked around, yawning slightly as she waited for Grim to speak Lille about the 'something' thing that he was talking about.

[Bill]

Lillie looked into the den as she finished her rabbit. She saw Grim looking at her, but she quickly looked away. 'Drat. he must have heard me' she thought. She licked her paws and rubbed her face against a tree to get the blood off it. She say a butterfly on a flower and chased after it. She had always enjoyed simple things like that.

Darwin smiled and wagged his tail. "Great idea! We need to find the humans, or a human! track them for awhile and wait for the perfect moment then save them for some sort of danger... whatever that may be" Darwin said. "we need to leave this clearing before it gets dark or they pick up on our scent.. Follow me guys" darwin said before he ran into the forest.

Kiara followed Darwin.She kept a steady pace so she didn't pass him and run into the group.Her paws thundered upon the ground, though the sound was more of a small whisper of a drumming sound.Her breathing was steady as if she was born to run and in a way, she was.Eyes locked on Darwin, she was eager to be away from this evil bloodthirsty group.Though, maybe there was a good dog in there with no place to go.Can't they leave if they don't like it? she thought to herself, her eyes focused ahead, not behind.Her ears were perked and she was on full alert of her surroundings since this was unknown territory to her now.
