Windfur hissed, angry at the two apprentices for brushing something like this off so lightly. She looked around for Lilypaw, hoping that her own medicine cat apprentice could talk to those cats' medicine cat. Perhaps she shouldn't have been meddling in the affairs of another clan, but the young apprentice reminded her too much of Arrowpaw for her to let this go. Her anger was more out of fear than anything, over something that she didn't quite understand.

Hearing something next to her, she assumed that it was just her imagination, still refusing to directly look at the Hopeclan apprentice. Aspenpaw sighed a bit, her gaze slightly shifting towards Flamepaw. The younger apprentice felt a bit bad for the tom. He must have misunderstood the tom when he flinched back at her comforting. Her eyes shifted away, seeing another feline trotting towards her. Recognizing the dark grey fur and yellow eyes, it was a Breezepaw, her sibling. Breezepaw seemed to have a worried expression on his face. Walking toward him, Aspenpaw licked his ear. Breezepaw smiled a bit, sitting down, looking over at the leaders. Aspenpaw sat next to him, her fur rubbing against his.

The russet leader gently dropped down between the qwarling apprentices, glancing at each of them. "Boys, I understand this is a stressful and concerning matter. But I am sure the attention can wait until after the gathering, Oakflower will join shortly and all our medicine cats will see to it your friend is healed soon." She smiled softly dipping her head to both before racing back up to the high ledge. "Cats of the three clans! Welcome. Some of you may know me as Reedfeather, deputy of Leafclan. As many are aware, life is dangerous in the swamp. It is with a heavy heart I say that Ashstar has passed, and joined the ranks of Starclan. In his place I was made leader, naming Emberflight as my deputy." She liked across the clearing, mind calculating what to share. "We gave a new healthy litter of kits, and many strong apprentices who will soon be warriors. Oakflower our medicine cat was buddy, but her apprentice Lillypaw is doing wonderfuly. In leafclan territory the tides have been rather strong, water levels are higher but we are still strong and safe. I advise anyone traveling through or around our land to keep a sharp eye out, several kittypets and liners have been scented. Our clan flourishes, and we hope our good fortune last for moons to come."

"Ashstar was a good cat and will be missed dearly." She said while looking up in the stars. "Well everything is going fine in Thornclan, flooding with apprentices needing mentors though." She said with a small laugh "In other news something terrible has happened. One of our warriors, Willowstrike, turned when Yellowheart became deputy. He tried to kill Yellowheart them planed to kill me as well." She said with a small sigh "He fled to the forest and has not been seen yet but who knows what hes up to so keep a eye out for if he heads into other clan territory." She said ''In other news so many loners keep being found in our territory. So we have to be very careful about that." She said with a nod "But otherwise everything has been just fine in the clan, healthy kits, strong growing apprentices and warriors ready to become mentors." She said then took a step back showing she was done.
