Bloodstar woke up from her fitful slumber. Quickly and quietly she exited the makeshift den. Her icy eyes quickly adjusted to the dim light. Quietly she padded towards where Snowstar and Goldenstep slept. With a careful and gentle paw she prodded the fellow leader, "Snowstar?" She whispered.

She was sleeping pressed beside Goldenstep. She felt prodding, and looked up, her kits still sleeping between them silently "Wha…? Yes, Bloodstar? What is it?" She whispered back, yawning.

"Remember what I told you yesterday? We are going to meet the rogue and check out our new home." Bloodstar meowed. She tilted her head, icy eyes confused. "Let's go already. Wake up the cats you've chosen and I'll wake up mine."
