Salmonfall rose and padded up to them, "An opponent in a real battle wouldn't suddenly stop, keep going until I can tell who have been beaten. But, that doesn't mean you have to kill to win."

Ripplestripe returned to Mapleshadow's side. "I couldn't find Blackpaw. Where did Tidestar go?" he asked, glancing around.

Tidestar noticed Seabreeze and Mapleshadow and excused herself, "I'm sorry, Creammaze, I will discuss this later, I promised to go on a hunting patrol." She faced the medicine cat apprentice. "Please let me know if you get any dreams that seem like parts of the prophecy, okay?" Tidestar nodded farewell to them before returning to Seabreeze and Mapleshade.

"She's not cominggg," Seabreeze whined after a while of calling for Pebblepaw. "Can't we just go hunt by ourselves?"

Ripplestripe greeted Tidestar with a flick of his ear. "Are we all ready to go?" he asked.
