"I-I have to go now," he said, his voice solemn "J-just.. D-don't t-tell!" He desperately wanting to say, or even better, do something. But his nerves were getting the best of him. Whipping around, he ran off, blazing through the forest like a wild fire. After sprinting for a bit, he could see the familiar lichen and rock of his mother's den. He skidded to a halt and snatched the cobwebs and marigold he had saved earlier, and took long strides into camp, looking aggravated. Like usual. But he wasn't aggravated, he was confused!

"Goodbye~!" She called out after him. She stared after him for a moment before letting out a deep breath, falling back onto the leaves just outside of camp. She looked up at the sky, the sun just beginning to peek out over the horizon. What had she just done? If anyone figured out... she rolled around and got up, only just realizing she hadn't caught a single thing. She sneaked into the apprentice den, trying to avoid suspicion.

Frost paw curled up in the den for another hour or so, not getting a wink of sleep. She sighed, grooming her short white fur for a moment, and got up and out of the den and into the new day, the sun making her fur shine. She blinked, a bit tired, and thought about last night.
