She looked up, hmm, that sounded a little easier, and she was good at sneaking up on things. Finally she nodded and headed around the mouse.

He crept on the other side and saw that Tinypaw was ready. He nodded before letting out a yowl, scaring the mouse towards Tinypaw.

She stayed perfectly still as the mouse raced towards her, then at the last second pounced and sunk her claws in, then looked up at Fireblaze in surprise. "I...I caught it!"

"Good job." He purred, proud of his apprentice. "You're going to be a great hunter." He purred.

She puffed her chest out proudly and carried the mouse back to him. "You really think so?" She asked, eyes shining.

"I'm doing pretty great myself aswell" He answered with a grin, his fluffy thick tail flicking up ans he replied. He looked around a bit, he could scent other cats nearby, but they smelled simalar to Russetstar so he figured they were from the clan aswell and didn't oppose a threat, unlike the other loners he had noticed sneaking around. "Just on a walk eh? Aren't you supposed to watch your clan? Or do a patrol or somethin' ?" He meowed while looking around a little absently.

Firefeather blinked . " There's nothing wrong , Russsetstar told me to let you have a look at me . "

"Of course." He purred. "I don't just complement to the joy of hearing my voice." He added in a purr. "You can bury that now and see what esle you can scent." He meowed.
Russetstar
"Great." She meowed. "Oh I don't have to do that all the time." She purred looking at him. "The clan is safe for now and there is nothing to worry about." She added after a few heartbeats. "I am allowed to relax." She purred, teasing him slightly.

Dusk grinned at the she-cat's comment, the sun was now falling on his fur, making his dark brown fur seem quite a bit lighter. His pupils became smaller and he blinked a little to get used to the sunlight."Well that's good to hear. I also wanted to ask you something. You see, I have been considering your offer of joining your clan, but something's been bugging me. I am kind of frightened to just leave my solitude for what it is and look for company again. I was just wondering if it would be an issue if I would wander off from time to time to be alone again? I do really enjoy being on my own and the thought of others dancing around me doesn't sound very appealing and is the main reason I didn't feel like joining a clan." He meowed, trying to sound diplomatic, while he turned away his face from the sun.

She watched the sun fall on his fur and felt like he was a Starclan cat. "That's good." She meowed, regarding his comment on joining the clan. "Of course. I was on a wonder myself untill I bumped into Firefeather then you." She replied, not saying Firefeather's name very fondly. She hoped he didn't pick up on that. "If you want, you can stay for a moon and make up your mind then.if you'd like." She offered. "Or do you want to think about it a little longer?" She asked, trying not to be distracted by his bright fur.
