Leafblaze came back out of the medicine den. The herbs had made her stomach fell a bit better for now.

Breezepaw shrugged. "I hope she feels better." Then he started giving himself a good wash.

Mistrain nodded in agreement and glanced around, having noticed her kits were no longer with her. She found them near Echostar and hurried over, pulling the two kits back with her tail. "Echostar, I'm sorry if they bothered you," she apologized, shooting a look at the kits. "I'll make sure they know not to do it again."

EchoStar looked over and smiled at them, she just adored kits. "Well, Shadekit, I don't really think it works that way. At least, not for me, I haven't been visited in my dreams for moons. I doubt its going to happen now. But who knows." She nuzzled Shadekit lovingly. "Of course we will never leave dear Ivykit. This is our home, no matter what." She told the nervous Ivykit.

"Oh Mistrain, don't worry about them, they weren't bothering anyone. They make me happy, you should be proud." EchoStar winked at Mistrain.

Brindletail
"Oh dear!" gasped Brindletail "Now what happened to you Leafblaze?"

Birchfire
Birchfire nuzzled the passed Winterkit, she held back her tears as she heard pawsteps pass the nursery, but a little gasp slipped out. Then she sighed as they pawsteps faded. she just wanted to be alone.

"So many bad things are happening, do you think StarClan is angry?" Shudderleaf whispered to Articpast, wrapping her tail around Dripkit.

"I don't know, perhaps. But what would they be angry about? Surely not angry enough to kill kits!" Articpast whispered back hesitantly.

"What if Dripkit dies, too? Kits are the core of the Clan. They grow up to be warriors." Shudderleaf mewed, licking Articpast's ear.
"I'm not going to die!" Dripkit announced. "I am a warrior!" Dripkit added. Shudderleaf purred. "Not yet my love, you aren't even an apprentice yet!"

Articpast laughed, looked at Dripkit and said, "One day you will become a warrior, but for now Shudderleaf and I are going to do anything necessary to keep you safe until you can protect your self, you know, when your mother and I are all old and bitter." Articpast stood up and did his best "Old Cat", impersonation. "And im sure you are going to grow up and be a great warrior." Articpast sat back down shoved Dripkit playfully with his head.

Dripkit stumbled backwards and began purring. "You've already got the voice!" Dripkit purred. Shudderleaf bumped Articpast gently on his shoulder with her head. "Let's hope you don't get grumpy, too!" Shudderleaf mewed playfully.
