Ceris' fur prickled as the scent of another unknown wolf entered her nostrils and nodded her head when Auroure confirmed it. Where were all these wolves coming from? She wondered, following close behind Aurore as she started towards the two scents. The faes' delicate paws pushed her small form nimbly through the forest. Fear pricked at the back of her mind at the thought of the two wolves being hostile. What would we do if they attacked us? No...That's not going to happen. Her mind cooed, pushing away her worries.

She made sure to match her pace with the fae and kept checking on her to make sure she was alright. A flicker of worry shone in her sage eyes as she noted the elders dificulty breathing. She was lost in her thoughts and before she knew it they were out of the forest. Her heart nearly burst from her chest as the two faes crashed into the clearing the two loners were standing in. She froze with fear as she stared at the two silently, her eyes wide with fear. The movement of Aurores' tail was what brought her back and she quickly slithered after her. She crouched beside the fae beneath the leafy bush the two were using as cover for the time being. Now what...she wondered, glancing at Aurore she looked for any sign as to what their next move would be.

Vulcan lifted his head at Willows' laughing and grinned again. “It's a shame isn't it?” He laughed, lifting his head and closing his eyes as the water sent from her tail and pelt splashed across his grinning muzzle. Pulling himself from the river he too shook the oddly tinted water from his pelt. The water droplets leaving his pelt left him smelling like the river and considerably cooler than he had been a few moments ago. His grin vanished as he tried to spot the cut on his nose Willow was talking about. Had that branch really hit that hard? He wondered, crossing his amber eyes in an effort to spot the wound. “It must have been that tree that attacked me.” The brute laughed lightly when he spotted the thin cut, a bit embarrassed by his clumsiness.

Willow watched him in amusement, and chuckled. He wasn't afraid to be himself, that was for sure... She eyed the log next to them, and suddenly pushed herself up onto it, scrambling slightly to get her hung legs up too. She stood looking down at him with a grin, and nodded. "I'm sure it just jumped out an attacked you," she said seriously, but then laughed. She jumped down on the other side of the log, into a medium sized rock that was jutting out of the water. She jumped from there to the bank. "Come on!" she called to him cheerily. "The fish aren't going to wait..."
She grinned devilishly, hiding herself well in the branches. She was planning to attack him when he got onto the bank... Just for fun of course, not to actually harm him. It wasn't just pups that romped around and wrestled.
She waited, crouching low. She laughed to herself, unable to help it. She was just having such a good time... And she was releives she wasn't the only clumsy one. He had ran into a branch, she had fell off a rock. Even.

Alicia looked over at Boreal as he introduced himself to Atra and Crysanthia. His fur seemed to have grown in size since the last time she had looked at him, but she supposed that this was only normal, after all, he had never seen these wolves in his life, and they probably would pose a threat to a wolf who didn't know them. The two wolves had seemed to her like they were getting more comfortable around Boreal and herself, but then she noticed how Atra's breathing became irregular, and it came in shorter gasps. It was a small difference, but enough for Alicia to notice something was wrong. Perhaps, discomfort? Shyness? She couldn't be sure. She was about to ask if anything was wrong, but Crysanthia suddenly came to her friend's rescue and told her the answer to her unspoken question.

She nodded at Crysanthia, and then gave Atra a brief smile before turning back to Crysanthia. "I knew we were scary," she said, "But are we that scary?" she stuck her tongue out to show her that she was joking around with them. Then, a look of mock realization spread across her face, "Boreal! It's you she's scared of! How dare you scare our friend!" Then she turned over to Atra once more, and if you had looked close enough, you could see that her eyebrow was wiggling in the mildest of fashions, "I'm sorry that Boreal is scaring you. But he tends to have that effect on wolves." By the end she was done with continuing her make-fun-of-spree of Boreal, she looked at Boreal and gave him a daring look with a semi-menacing smile, as if saying, what are you going to do about it?

Boreal -

Boreal felt a small panic awake in his chest, but pushed it down. Am I really intimidating them? No, he dismissed his previous thought, can we really trust them? Torn now between keeping a guarded demeanour, and allowing himself to trust complete strangers, his mind wrestled the two options available to him. In the split second it took for him to resolve this issue, his face remained unchanged. Slowly and tersely, he unfluffed his fur, dipping his head slightly. "My apologies," he began, but then stopped, still slightly mistrustful of the other wolves yet letting the threat he posed pass.

Turning his eyes downward, his pale sage orbs watched a pair of green ones, teasing him. An opportunity too good to pass up, he decided. "Of course, I apologise only if it's me that's been putting you at unease. Perhaps it's someone else?" With his broad shoulder, he nudged Alicia lightly, returning her wicked grin with one of his own. He wondered how she could be so relaxed around unknown wolves. Maybe I could learn something from her, he mused.

Aurore -

Catching Ceri's eye, she made her decision instantly. Taking a deep breath, she stepped slowly towards the wolves, taking great pain to conceal the state of her leg, and her harsh panting which had not quite settled yet. There was two brutes, one slightly recognisable as a fighter in the pack, and the other carried a new scent. She stayed silent, waiting for the reactions of the other wolves. She made no signal for Ceri to stay hidden, and none that suggested she follow. Aurore left the decision completely up to her.
