She looked away at his caustic statement, only turning her gaze back towards him to speak. "Not annoying her yet." She flatly stated, "No one else has seen your true colors then." Her grip on the squirrel tightened, though she kept her fur flat. "Why don't I go look for Foxpaw? He'd be much better company as a matter of fact." She told him, looking away. Deep down her emotions stirred, and she felt both the anger and the sadness inside.

Spottedpaw

Spotted paw set her vole down, and was a bit startled when Dewpaw showed up. She kept on looking back and forth at Cedarpaw and Dewpaw as they argued. She started to wonder if Cedarpaw really was just an annoying tom, or if Dewoaw was just being a hot head. She crouched down when they started to mention her, and she didn't want to be the cause of the argument.

The tabby tom's fur bristled as he listened to the she-cat's outbursts. "Well, I've seen your true colors, and they were just as irritating! I don't plan on annoying her. You appear to be the only one making her feel uncomfortable because she wanted to go hunting. Why does that even bother you anyways," Cedarpaw mewed gruffly as he tried to hold the frustration back from his voice. "Maybe you should find Foxpaw! Hopefully he isn't trying to chase after a badger this time."

Spottedpaw finally got up the courage to say something. She said "I just wanted to hunt. If you two are going to argue the whole time, I'll just go somewhere else." She muttered silently "Not like there's going to be any prey around here anyway." She turned around, heading to the other side of the territory to hunt. She liked Cedarpaw and all, but if he kept on arguing with Dewpaw, it would get out of hand to quickly, if it hasn't already. She forgot to grab her vole, so she turned around to retrieve it.

She huffed, "Why does Foxpaw bug you? Huh?" She retorted, and could've continued arguing had Spottedpaw not interrupted. She felt a pang of guilt as she watched the she-cat leave, and actually stopped talking. She only wanted to hunt... She thought, her tail lowering to the ground. Act your age Dewpaw... She sighed with frustration, then preceded after Spottedpaw. She passed a glare at Cedarpaw, not wanting the fighting to continue for now. If it started back up later then that would be fine, but Spottedpaw had been forced into the middle of their argument. "Spottedpaw.." She spoke, following the she-cat.

Spottedpaw heard Dewpaw call her name, and then whipped her head around, her tail swishing from side to side in irritation. She sighed, calming down, then said "Yes, Dewpaw?" She couldn't wait to be a warrior, but she realised that even when they become warriors, they'd still act like kits. She rolled her eyes in her head at the thought, and then remembered that when she became 20 moons old, she'd be able to have kits. She thought about what would happen if she did have kits, and wondered who would be the father, but quickly pushed the thought away as she waited for Dewpaw, her vole in her jaws.

She halted as the she-cat turned to look at her. She wasn't entirely sure what to say; all she knew was that Spottedpaw shouldn't have been dragged into the mess. She let out a huff, her gaze still rather harsh looking so she looked at her paws. "I didn't mean to drag you into our argument." Her ears flicked with her words. "My problems should be left to me; I shouldn't have involved you." That was her way of apologizing, as she did find the words 'I'm sorry' to be an extremely thing to actually say out loud.
