(( Drowning to death? xD Isn't drowning already death by water? ))

Yara struggled against the strong current that was pulling him back, sweeping him further from InkJr. "Ink... I'm coming. If we're going down, we're going together. Like old times." He gritted his teeth and lurched forwards, breathing heavily, his muscles starting to refuse to co-operate. By the time he reached InkJr, he was to tired to swim back with them, so he curled around Ink's body, keeping him warm and using himself as a shield. "It's okay Ink. I won't let anything happen to you." He growled as the current swept them slightly further from the shore. "We can make it."

Ink JR whined quietly and opened his eyes slightly to look at Yara. He smiled weakly and then just went unconscious...

Yara groaned as the water smashed his back into a sharp rock, luckily not enough to draw blood. All that they needed right now was a water predator coming after them... He wasn't sure he'd have the energy to fight one off.
((HINT. Who said that? -stares around- ))

The faint outline of a shark appeared in the distance underwater, and it slowly started to come closer as it smelled the blood coming from one of Ink JR's old wounds..

Yara's eyes became wide with horror as he spotted the shark. "Aww [censored]..." He looked up at the sky for a moment. "Someone up there hates me, I bet it's my dad..." He grumbled quietly to himself, calming his actions. He didn't want to look like prey, but he was terrifyed. "Ink... I'm going to get you out of this alive. Don't worry." He knew that he was just talking to himself, but it comforted him.
He was to far away for Karrie and the others to get to them, they were alone to fight it as best they he could.

A smaller shark suddenly came up from underneath Yara and grabbed Ink JR by his tail, then took him underwater and bit down deep in to the pup's little body. As blood gushed from his deep wounds, another shark came along and tried to take Ink off of the other.

Yara dived down after the fish, growling through closed jaws. He kicked at the first shark and slashed open the nose of another, grabbing InkJr and swimming back to the top, gasping for breath. "Why is this never easy..." He yelped as another, a slightly larger one that had been drawn to the scene by the blood, bit down on one of his tails. He yelped and kicked it in the nose, but that only got it angrier.

Ink suddenly woke up again and looked at Yara in panic. "Y-Yara, get back to shore. I'll sort these guys out..." He coughed, then struggled out of Yara's grip and kicked the shark in the gills. It was an easy way to repel a shark....

Yara grabbed InkJr again, tightening his grip. "Shush Ink. I'm responsible for you right now. I'm going to deal with it." He snarled at the sharks, kicking another. Why were they after him... Why not go after the one that was bleeding?

"Yara, you can get out of here. All you have to do is leave me here." Ink growled back. "I won't let you be hurt needlessly..."
