"But its killing me to." He whispered. "I can feel it. She broke it single pawed. She told me to leave her alone and never look at her again." His eyes glazed over with anguish. "I can't keep doing this!" He lay his head onto the floor ungracefully. His breathing shallowed and he stared at the camp entrance. He stumbled to his feet and started trudging towards rockclans river. He stopped a few foxlenghts as he saw her. His heart ached so much. Slowly, he walked over to her. "No matter what, i'll never leave you. Do you remember when I made that promise?" He asked quietly. "I'm dieing snowstar. My heart can't take much more. And neither can yours." He whispered.

Mercy was sitting outside camp. Fog was playing nearby, while Dawn was off to the side curled up.

Willowpaw watched him meander off, then went to the apprentice den.

She looks at him with sad eyes and manages a very weak smile."Yeah,I remember when you made that promise.We where sitting under the stars in camp and we kept saying how much we loved each other and what we would do." She looks at her paws and lets a single tear escape and it the sandy shore.She looks up at Crowfrost."I'm so sorry Crowfrost,I meant nothing I said to you that hurt you,I will always love you,I guess you already heard about Shadevipper." She looks down remembering that night."I loved him so much then when I came back as a warrior,my name was Snowstrike then I saw him with Blueheart and my heart just crumpled." She looks back at Crowfrost."And when I meet you it was like you glued my heart back together,I was the happiest cat in the world with you Crowfrost." She twins her tail with his."I miss you."

She continued to smell the air. The scent of fox and badger were all over, but stale. The animals must have left during the illness strike, but who knows when they would be back....
