Skyspirit looked at Lilytkit, "Well, you can't just be a medicine cat." she meowed, "You have to have an interest in herbs, want to learn their names, and you have to be trained by me." she smiled, "Come, I'll show you some herbs."

Lilykit bounded after Skyspirit, "Okay!" She wiggled with excitement.

Skyspirit trotted into the medicine den, going by the little hollow with nests for patients. She passed her own den before reaching the storage room. "Here we are." she purred. She nudged some poppy seeds with her nose, "These are poppy seeds." she told Lilykit. "Remember their size, smell, and shape now."

Lilykit stared fiercely at the poppy seeds, trying to memorize everything about them. After a while, she looked up. "Okay, I think I have it. Are there a lot of thing that look alike?"

Skyspirit shook her head, "Every herb has it's own unique looks. No two look alike." She picked up some goldenrod and placed it in front of Lilykit, "How about this? It's goldenrod. Take a good look, try to memorize it."
