Tigerpaw soon caught another mouse and abandoned the ground to head into the trees. He spotted a squirrel in the tree above him. He quietly climbed into the tree and stalked the squirrel until he was close enough and pounced. He caught the prey, but lost his balance. He fell off the branch, and righted himself in the air, but landed fairly hard. He rolled head over heels and came to a stop on his back. "At least the prey isn't damaged." He muttered softly, and started to stand, shaking off an aching feeling.

The handsome red tom dipped his head to the leader. "Why, it is a pleasure to meet you, Swiftstar. My name is Flare and I am but a mere loner passing by. I mean no harm to this clan of yours." He sat down and curled his tail around his paws. And I thought their leader would be less... aggressive. I guess I was wrong.

Tigerpaw heard the patrol through the trees. If you were any louder, you would scare the prey away from here to LightningClan He thought sarcastically as he put the prey back with the rest. He stretched, to see if he was hurt, but he didn't feel anything so he assumed that he was fine.
