Seeing that Fraise wasn't going to take his handshake, he brought his hand down to his other in front of his stomach. Even though he could see that Fraise probably meant to comment of "What kind of name is that?" as an offense, but decided to take the chance to tone down the hostility factor. "It's a scandinavian name, also used in England, but I was born in Norway so that explains it." Now hearing the female's dragon's mutter of Fraise, he couldn't help but give a smile. "Well, that's a beautiful name." he said, giving the compliment, not trying to anger the female again. "And who doesn't like France?"

As Ashe answered her question about her name, she snorted ; it wasn't exactly the answer she had been hoping for. She had been asking [ though not aloud ] what did the name mean, not where it had come from but the female decided to simply just let the matter drop. Another smile spread across the male's face and even though Fraise didn't give even the smallest smile herself, a flicker of amusement flashed in her eyes before it was gone. But the laughter had disappeared as Ashe said it was a 'beautiful' name, what was he trying to do, flatter her? ''It's an alright name,'' she responded stiffly before going on to answer his next question, even though Fraise couldn't help but feel she wasn't meant to answer it. ''I can think of a lot of people who dislike France ; most people who are having a war with france,'' she said with a smirk. ''What brings you here today?''

Ashe saw a little bit of amusement in the female's eyes, giving him a little hope with the conversation. Though when he said it was a nice name, he felt stupid. Shouldn't have over done it, he grimaced. But again smiled, always doing his best to never be anything worse than pleasant. Deciding not to comment of the France, he decided to leap to her question of what brought him here. "Well, nothing special. Just thought I'd meet some new people is all." giving a minor shrug. He wasn't lying, he was just there to meet some people, maybe get some food and probably leave. Something relaxing and a little fun to do for the day. "Well, what about you? Not meaning to impose of course!" he added the last words, as he had said. Not wanting to again anger the hot-tempered female.

The female noticed how Ashe dodged her previous comments and her own mouth finally twitched upwards as a response to that ; was she really that frightening? Finally, it did become a smile as Ashe spoke again though it was really dark humour that caused the grin. ''Yeah, I came to meet some new people too,'' she said smoothly, muffling the snicker that was threatening to rise ; the weird part was that Fraise's words were true. She wasn't going to do exactly was Ashe was doing, smiling and trying to make friends but she was meeting some new people to, wasn't she? But the form Fraise took it in included the female starting a fight and being turned in to police. ''Not meaning to impose of course!'' She smirked again at the male's words, she had just asked Ashe why he was coming here so it only seemed fair that he asked her in return ; of course he wasn't imposing. ''Nah, you're not imposing.''

"Well, it's a great place to meet new people." he commented, if anything finding the conversation quite interesting. "And at least it doesn't seem like I'm a creep." he added, giving a little laugh, a bad attempt at humor, not Ashe's strong point. He wasn't sure what to think of Fraise though. She seemed a little ready to ruffle your fur, but slightly laid back. "Care to sit down?" he asked, feeling a little awkward, but he gave himself a mind slap a little bit. "As friends of course!" he again, adding something at the end. Not wanting to seem as if he were asking her on a date or anything.

Fraise smiled, a true smile filled with pure amusement this time and gave a quick shake of her head, her ponytail bouncing from side to side. ''If anything, I'm the true creep here,'' she laughed, not at all affected by the idea and leaned back against the wall. She rolled her eyes at the male's question and snorted before opening her jaws to speak, revealing two rows of sharp teeth. ''I can sit down without a guy asking me, you know,'' she smirked but sat down anyway, looking at the menu that had already been set at the table. As Ashe spoke again, he almost sounded panicked as if she was going to bite his head off or something ; she didn't think they were friends yet but a date or something was completely out of the question.

"You don't seem like a creep to me." he said, sitting down in one of the wooden chairs. Hearing the female's remark Ashe did nothing but raise an eyebrow in body language. "Mmmhmm." he hummed, a grin growing on his face. She smirked as he picked up the menu, though needlessly since he knew what he wanted anyways. A espresso and a croissant. "So, I haven't seen you around before, you new?" he asked, seeing as a innocent small talk question couldn't hurt at all.

Ember took another step into the cafe. She hadn't been here in a long time, or really never. She had been told by Ashe it was a ton of fun, and she looked over and saw him there to her surprise. He was talking to a girl that Ember obviously didn't recognize. Well time to meet some more people! she smiled in her head, even if she looked a little nervous on the outside. Either way, she picked up her head and headed over to a small table, with only room for two people. Maybe she'd pick up on someone.
