Cole kept growling and barking at Shard.

Shard looked down at the pup. He looked up again to see Marrow Flower rushing about. 'I wonder what's going on.' He thought to himself.

Echo watched as Jaybird received his punishment. She was mad that he had left the camp even after she had told him not to, but it seemed like Sontag had it under control.

Sontag padded out of his den and toward Echo. "You are to make sure Jaybird stays in this camp, and take over his position."

Cole curled up on Shard's tail, finally quiet.

Echo nodded. "Don't worry, Sontag." It would be hard, doing Beta and Delta responsibilities, but Echo could handle it.

Jay looked at the camp entrance , how easy would it be , to go and never come back "Its not like anyone would miss me , an x-delta how made a mistake that cost him everything ."He mumbled and stood up taking a few steps towards the entrance .

Echo notices the upset look on Jay's face and softens a bit. "Jay, I know it can be demoralizing to be demoted. I've been through it too.'
