Kat put the chubs in the field and threw in some hay

Chippy was upset he couldn't run well because of his old owner's abuse remembering his past he begain to feel depressed and alone. He had Kat but sometimes he wanted more possibly a foal? He pushed the thought away he would never find a mate.

Candytuft glanced over and spotted Chippy out of the corner of her eye, he looked as sad as she felt. Sniffling pathetically, she wiped her eyes dry and put on a tiny smile as she turned toward him and took a few steps in his direction. "Hi, I'm Candytuft," She whispered hoarsely, her voice hoarse from crying, "It's nice to meet you." Bronze watched her carefully with his bright eyes, smiling a little wryly when he realized she was already on the mend.

Bam Bam came to a stop as he hit the end, veering away in a circle. Glancing back, he realized two of the other chubs were missing. Ears perked, he looked around, finding Candytuft speaking with another male. He couldn't help it as his ears flicked back slightly, before he let out a quiet snort.

Candytuft was too busy looking the new male over, but Bronze noticed Bam Bam's look and pinned his ears back completely, taking a quick warning step toward him. "Leave her be," He hissed under his breath, his tail lashing back and forth.

Bam Bam was surprised, letting his ears pin under his thick flaxen mane. "I'm not doing anything." he said simply, stamping a hind hoof on the ground. She was the one that had flirted with him, then headed off for another male.

"Hmph." Bronze eyed the other male quite warily, his ears still pinned, but his eyes taking on a bit of a more thoughtful look. "Sure, whatever." He finally said after a moment, shrugging his broad shoulders. "Just... leave her alone, okay? She doesn't need any more hurt." Then he walked off to be on his own, spotting a nice shady spot by the fence.

"She was the one talking to me." Bam Bam said with a slightly disgusted snort, shaking out his mane as he walked away from the other male as he walked away too. It wasn't him that chased her off. She just kind of left him. He would of spoken to her if she went to talk to him.

Chippy felt alone his friends wouldn't talk to him and he neighed sadly and lied down he wanted to play but he had nothing to do.

Bronze didn't even hear the other male as he retreated to his place beneath the tree, laying down contentedly in the grass and resting his head on his hooves exhaustedly. It was a tiring job, looking after Candytuft as she got herself into trouble and heartbreak!

Candytuft nudged Chippy as gently as she could with the edge of her hoof, wondering if he hadn't heard her. "Ummm... hello?" She smiled sweetly at him.

Chippy smilled and got up Finally someone to play with he happilly ran around her
