Bluepaw let out a low growl, "Well what do you expect me to do about it, Jaypaw? Do I look like a medicine cat?"

Emberpaw gave a smug huff. "If you meant to say, 'Do you want to beat me at training?', then yes, I'd love a nice little victory." He flashed his tongue over his paws a few times and calmly gazed at his sister. "Your battle moves are nothing compared to mine, little girl!"

Jaypaw looked at Bluepaw, shocked. A few moments ago he had been kind and caring, it was out of character for him to snap like that. She limped over to the nursery. "Minnowstream?"

"We'll see about that," Lightpaw teased. She playfully dashed to the training hollow where she waited. "Ready?"

"Oh yes," Emberpaw hissed as he lashed his tail back and forth. His eyes flittered over Lightpaw as he decided where to strike.

Bluepaw suppressed the image of Jaypaw's shock and went on with walking along the caverns. "What does she think I am, some sort of boyfriend?" he ranted out loud, irritated by Jaypaw's complaining. He had seen his Clanmate slain in front of his own eyes... and she complains of a stinging paw?

Lightpaw smirked and watched his tensing body, watching for him to strike.

In a second, Emberpaw shot out at Lightpaw, aiming his paws at her chest and hoping to flip her over.

Lightpaw jumped up, but not quick enough. She was flipped over and landed with a thud, but quickly recovered. She used her back legs to kick her brother back and jumped back up.
