She frowned. "Do you want me to give you some space? I'm not pitying you are anything, if I went through what you are going through, I'd want some space."

I don't need space! I need company! Flintfoot yowled in his mind. But, aloud, he didn't answer.

[fowauke]

"Hey, Flint." She meowed gently. "I... I won't try and betray you, but our friendship needs teamwork. I'm just not strong enough to support it myself for a long amount of time." She placed her tail on his shoulder. "If you need to do some navigating, I'll be here patiently waiting to see what you find. I won't give up on us, but, do you promise you won't either?" She held out her paw, waiting to see if he would take it.

Kestrelflame glanced at Pineleap.

"Is everything okay?" He asked, wrapping his tail around her's.

Kestrelflame nodded. “Yeah.”

Flintfoot stepped back. " What are you saying? "

Her eyes softened. "If you need some space to collect your thoughts, I won't mind. When you're done, I'll still be here."

[ardentsongbird]

Dipping his head, Flintfoot took another small bite of his vole. He then pushed it aside. " I'm not hungry, you can have it. " He murmured before sleepily walking towards the warriors' den.

[atticus,]

Pineleap nuzzled Krestelflame. "Everything is alright. Nothing bad will happen no-more. I will protect you." He promised.
