Darkdream purred. "How have you been?!"

"Not bad to be honest" Ravensky purred and then lapped at her chest. "I also wanted to tell you something, something no one else knows about yet," She mewed seriously and then grinned. "Darkdream I think I'm going to have kits."

Darkdream looked at Ravensky. Suddenly, all happiness in her eyes clouded with pain. She frowned "Really?"

Stonesight's tail wrapped around his paws as he looked up at Darkdream in a new light. She was now deputy; A soon-to-be leader. He still felt terrible for fighting with her, but he wasn't going to apologize for something he felt was right. His eyes fell to slits as he realized he didn't see Finchwing anywhere. "Finch?" He called out in the center of camp. "Finchwing?" He repeated with a semi-desperate tone.

Darkdream looked at Ravensky. Suddenly, all happiness in her eyes clouded with pain. She frowned "Really?"

"Well I'm not exactly sure yet," Ravensky addmitted and she shrank against the bush. "I'm scared stiff to be honest Darkdream, what if I do have kits? Will I be a good mother? What if they don't-" She broke off her voice wavering.

Darkdream shot a glance at Ravensky. "Why are you asking me this?" She spat suddenly angry. "I am not help to you in this"

"Because Darkdream, you've told me you were a mother once, I was sure you knew something about it, but... I guess I was wrong" Ravensky's eyes were filled with tears and she shook her pelt before leaving Darkdream in camp.
