Shadowclaw nodded, smiling again at Mudpaw. "Good. Now, here's the hunter's crouch for rabbits...." Quietly Shadowclaw showed his apprentice the crouch for rabbits. "Now, go catch it and impress Creekpaw!"

Eaglepaw crept towards the smell of the same squirrel. Soon it was in sight. Just by a tree, with a few seeds in its paws. Eaglepaw knew he needed to do this perfectly or the squirrel would run away.

Mudpaw grinned and did the crouch. Slowly, he went around to the rabbit. He shot forward and killed it with a swift bite to the neck.

Shadowclaw waited silently by the giant maple tree.

Eaglepaw crouched lower, carefully not to make a single sound. Silently he crept forwarrds, and leaped. He slammed his paw down hard and heard the squirrel's neck crack. "I bet other warriors and apprentices don't do that!" He said to himself quietly before returning to Shadowclaw with his catch.

Mudpaw made sure the rabbit was dead before padding back to Shadowclaw.

Eaglepaw reached his father at the same moment that Mudpaw did.
"Great catches, you two!" Shadowclaw greeted the two tom apprentices.
Eaglepaw purred with amuesment, dropped his catch by Shadowclaw and turned to Mudpaw. "Nice catch!" He meowed.

(Not too much. Shadowclaw said that they would be hunting near the giant maple tree when they decided who was going with who. Shadowclaw took Eaglepaw and Mudpaw with him and then told them that ^^. Eaglepaw told Mudpaw that he thought him and Creekkit were a nice couple, even if it agervatedhis other sister. Then Eaglepaw caught a squirrel and Mudpaw a rabbit. I think thats just about it.)

"Nice catch! Both of you!" Creekpaw called. She smiled, and padded towards Mudpaw.

Flowerheart came out of the bushes, and smiled at all of them.

Stonepaw and Willowpaw followed them. "Please don't be mad at them. You'll find someone." he whispered to his sister.
