Blackhaze looked uneasy about the fight. It was one thing for a hotheaded warrior or a stubborn apprentice to argue with a superior, but why was Brokenstar messing about in the nursery? Every cat knew that if you messed with a kit, the queen would come after you, no questions asked.

Brokenstar snarls, lashing his tail. "Fine! I will make your puny kit an apprentice, but she will train harder than any apprentice!" He snaps, stalking away.

"Foxheart." Flintbreeze snarls.

Skypaw frowns as Brockenstar lashed out at her and the others.

Sunshine stood, shaking with suppressed anger as she slowly calmed herself down. She looked at Flintbreeze, hoping for some hint of comfort from him.

Shadystream padded closer to watch the kits her daughter seemed to be forgetting about.

Blackhaze looked o in astonishment. The argument was about apprenticeship for one of the kits? Really? Great Starclan, was Darkclan going to the dogs?

((Sunshine got mad when Brkenstar said that Cherrykit couldn't become an apprentice until eight moons, and they argued about it and it kind of attracted an audience, and then Brokenstar finally decided to let her become an apprentice at six moons.))

Windstep nodded. "Since you still haven't been assigned a new mentor, i'll take you hunting."
