He smiled up at the she-cat and took a small bite of the prey.

He yawned and trotted over to her, shaking his wet pelt out. "Sure." he meowed, sitting down next to her so he could take a few measly bites. He sat so that he brushed fur with her.

"How're you doing?" she meowed in worry, touching noses to him.

"Just fine."he meowed his voice still slightly rasping.

Brightfang pushed down a purr, not pulling away. She took a few more bites, licking her lips. Her tail curled prettily.

Getting up, he stretched his paws. "Alright. First thing to know- Thick fur is better in water- it keeps out the cold and keeps more warmth to you. Second thing to know- Make sure you don't struggle. When you're wading, make sure to relax." He meowed.

Brightfang relaxed her muscles and fluffed out her fur. "Like this?"

"Yep! Now it's time to actually get in the water," he teased, trotting to the shore to put his paws in. "Alright, Now you just relax and let the bass come back again. Once you see them, Dive in and open your eyes. It might surprise you at first, but your eyes can adjust underwater if you will them to." He meowed, Blinking his hazel eyes.
