Sunpelt scrunched his muzzle, thinking. " Leafpaw... Leafpaw. What clan are you from?" he asked.

Songpaw laughed alittle,"Normaly, I'm really not bouncy." She stop for a moment and said to the tom,"Is this a good spot to start hunting?" She asked.

Her rounded ears bobbed up and down as she trotted along an invisible path, one that only she could seemingly see, and the tip of her largely plumed tail stuck higher than the taller grasses. To anyone watching, all they could see were a pair of black-tipped ears and a white tail with black spots. But being curious as she was, she was following a sound. A little jingling sound.
Naomi paused, something shiny catching her eye. She leaned down, pawing at the grass to uncover a strange object--almost like a leaf, but too brightly coloured and regularly shaped. She poked at it, and it crinkled, the light glinting off it. She skewered it with a claw, reaching up to tuck it beneath one of the necklaces she wore. Preoccupied with her find, she didn't hear the pawsteps approaching behind her.

What was it that cat had been shouting about earlier? "...StoneClan." she replied after a moment, hoping she'd gotten it right. Her paws itched for her to run, but she forced herself to stand her ground. For at least as long as there was a chance this cat was buying her story.

Lightpaw stalked through the grass, listening carefully for any sign of rabbits. She scented the air, too, but the changing winds made it difficult to tell where the scents were coming from. She continued walking, still not having found anything and beginning to get impatient. Suddenly she stopped, whiskers twitching. There. She slipped into a hunting crouch and began slinking towards where she thought the rabbit was. She slowed as she got closer, remembering how her previous mentor had always told her she moved too fast.
"Oh, how silly of me. I've forgotten to introduce myself. My name is Naomi." she replied. "Flutterpaw...you have a lovely name, dear. Has a nice rhythm to it." she added with another kind smile. "As for trading...well, many things. I'll trade for food, or herbs. Or anything I can use to make my accessories--anything shiny or colourful. Strings and chains are always needed. And, sometimes, I'll trade for a good story. I do love stories." She absentmindedly kneaded the ground with her front paws as she spoke. "I have some things stored not too far from here, if you'd like to take a look." she added.
