Standby for exile

It was voting time. There was not a single doubt that Puddlepaw was going to be exiled. Shadowstar sighed and leaped onto the vantage point. "Everyone, please gather below the vantage point for a clan meeting." All of Riverclan scurried to the vantage point, waiting for the exile of Puddlepaw. "Puddlepaw, you are hereby exiled from Riverclan. If you are seen in Riverclan territory after next sunrise, you will be killed." Puddlepaw panicked for a second, then simple nodded, not picking a fight, knowing she wouldn't be able to win. "As you wish. Once you find the real murderer, please let me know, you're in dire need of a medicine cat," she responded, then left.

Puddlepaw became a rouge and lives a short distance away from the clans, not wanting to be attacked by patrols. She patiently awaits the day Riverclan exiles the real murderer so she can rejoin Riverclan and continue to care for her clan.

Hollyclaw was prodded away by a cat, one she didn't recognize quickly. "Hey. I can't sleep, so do you mind going on a walk with me?' the cat asked. Hollyclaw nodded. "Sure. I have nothing better to do after you woke me up." Hollyclaw got to her feet and walk with the cat out of camp. "Wow, I haven't seen the night sky in a while," she said in an attempt to make small talk. The cat nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it sure is." The walk was pretty awkward, most small talk attempts was either completely ignored or only responded to once. As they were heading back to camp, Hollyclaw noticed something... silvery. "Hey, do you have any idea what that is?" The cat shook their head. "No, I don't. Sorry." "Well, it's probably just my imagination anyways." A few steps later, Hollyclaw realized that it wasn't her imagination, and just as she realized it, her head got stuck in the middle of a fox trap. "Help me!" she barely choked out, but the cat was gone. They set me up, her final thought was, and then perished away.

Stoneleaf tossed and turned in his nest, clearly worried. Getting to his paws, he padded out, noticing a cat was missing. "Again?" He murmured, following Hollowclaw's scent. Finding her body, the tom gave a yowl of grief as he tried to losses the fox trap to bring the body home.

WillowFrost stretched in her nest. She got up and noticed that HollyClaw's nest was empty and her scent was stale. She tried to convince herself that HollyClaw probably went for some midnight hunting but with all the murders happening her mind drifted to worse conclusions. "Relax WillowFrost," she told herself,"Everything is fine. We exiled the murderer already. I mean, PuddlePaw was the murderer right?" She went out to get a mouse from the kill pile to keep her mind off the troubles plauging her Clan. "I hope everything turns out alright. I hate knowing my clan mates are dropping dead and I can't do anything to help!" She pushed her mouse away unable to eat anymore as despair swept over her.

Talonstrike wearily dragged himself out of bed, plagued with suspicion and grief at losing his clanmates. He smelled Hollyclaw's scent leading out of the camp and almost sobbed when Stoneleaf brought her body back. He bowed his head and squeezed his eyes shut, not willing to see another one of his clanmates dead.
