(I can post now! Yay! In addition to being busy, I have had a case of chickensmoothieotisis. It is a rare disease that causes a person to lose interest in CS for two to three days. I have actually contracted this disease before, so I was able to fight it off faster than normal. Please let me know if anyone here ever gets this awful disease. I will understand.

Yay! Now that I've got that out of my system, I can post. Thanks so much to Rose for watching the RP while I was gone this week. And welcome to our new member! I shall make up for my absense by posting every single one of my cats.)

Tinkpetz wrote:Flameheart nodded happily and kept eating. "Do you have me on any patrols today, Bloodstar?" he mewed between bites. He was happy to go hunting or border patrolling, but he really didn't want to if he didn't have to. Best find out now.
Foxflame whirled around and laughed. "I have two cats talking to me at once!" He nudged the lava bird towards the medicine cat. "I just brought you some fresh-kill, Blacktail." He dipped his head to the tom and backed out of the den, running into Mudpaw. "Sorry, Mudpaw." Stepping away, he shook himself all over until his fur fluffed up. "There. Now I think I'm all woken up." He grinned down at his apprentice. "Let's go find Nightfire!" he meowed.
Nightfire dropped into a crouch and crept forward until she could see her target, its red and black feathers ruffling. Her claws were unsheathed, glinting in the sunlight. Suddenly, she leapt upwards, snagging her claws on the branch the bird was sitting on. She hissed in pain, but quickly noticed she had trapped one of the bird's feet under a paw. Her other paw flashed out, knocking the bird to the ground, momentarily stunned. She let go of the branch and dropped, landing painfully on all fours. Her jaws finally closed around the bird's neck and she sat down, weary from the struggle. "Ouch!" she hissed, looking her torn claws over. "This stupid bird was not worth my full set of claws!" She grabbed the bird and stomped back to camp, grumbling angrily all the way.

Rainstar smiled, watching the exchange between brother and sister. She dipped her head to Stonefur when he sat down beside her. "Yes, I did." She sat up straight, allowing her thoughts to collect. "There have been some problems with EarthClan and I wanted to go visit them today. I wanted to take you and maybe Pinefeather if she wants to go. We'll mainly be talking about trespassers and prey rights. EarthClan always has trouble in leaf-bare, and this time I wanted to discuss ways to help them before the snow hits. Anything to keep the peace," she finished, raising her eyes to look at him.
Silverleaf laughed. "We have to go tell Dawnsinger. No doubt she'll want to come!" The gray she-cat bounded on light feet towards the warriors den. Much to her surprise, Dawnsinger was not inside! "Hmm." She backed out, puzzled. Where could her friend be? "I guess we'll have to go look for her," she meowed, grinning down at Otterpaw. She was about to dash off into the forest when she noticed Jayclaw resting in a tree at the edge of camp. "Hi, Jayclaw!" she called up to the tom. "We're all going to the lake today. Are you coming?"
AirClan
Stormcall purred, rubbing against her. "It's been so long," he meowed softly, pulling away to gaze at her. "How are you? How is my sister?" He always made sure to ask about Silverleaf whenever Dawnsinger visited, knowing what a trouble-maker she was. He almost didn't care if his mate answered or not. He was too busy looking at her eyes. They were so blue, lighter than his, and they reminded the gray tom of the water.
Ashfeather grinned and yawned. "Let's go hunting," she meowed, caught up in the moment. "We'll tell Swiftstar we're the hunting patrol for today..." she trailed off, ideas blossomming in her clever mind.
Nightfeather smiled, knowing his mate was too busy thinking to speak. "I'll go ask her right now," he mewed softly, and padded towards the leader. "Swiftstar? Can Ashfeather and I be the hunting patrol today?" he asked timidly.
EarthClan
Earthpaw swallowed his last bite of fresh-kill and nodded enthusiastically at his mentor, his head snapping around when he heard movement from the warriors den. He listened carefully and then nodded some more until it felt like his head was going to fall off. "Let's go!" He bounded off after the two warriors, enjoying the dirt under his claws and the air rushing past his pelt as he ran, trying to keep up.

Tinkpetz wrote:Marshpelt listened, laughing at the thought of Robinpaw wolfing down mouse after mouse. Whiterunner started to give an order and Marshpelt straightened and nodded. "Of course, Whiterunner. I'll go get her right now." He watched the deputy proceed to sit with Minkstar, and then he padded away to the apprentice den. "Robinpaw?" he said softly, not wanting to startle her.
IceClan
Nightfall breathed in deeply, letting the scents of the snow wash over him. He detected something warm just over the next hill. He couldn't tell what it was from here, but he knew it was another animal. Padding toward the hill, he kept breathing in, trying to figure out what it was that eluded his senses. The thought occured to him that whatever it was might not be friendly. The black tom's eyes glowed, ready to use the ice power given to him at his birth.

Petalsong ate the lark quickly, so as to have more time for more important things. As soon as she was done, her face fell. She didn't have anything more important to do. Without Foxflame or Ashfeather, the days inched by, seeming endless. Oh, how she wanted her kits to be born.
Brightpaw yawned, her jaws stretching wide. Her bright blue eyes twinkled in the morning sunlight as she padded outside the shelter of the blueberry bush they used for an apprentice den. Being the medicine cat apprentice, she could have shared the medicine den with Flowerface, but the white she-cat liked being alone. The apprentice den was sure alone.
LeafClan
Heathersong sighed. She should have known better than to think she could hide something from Stormpaw. The apprentice was very perceptive. "It's about DarkClan." She faltered, not sure how to continue. "Even I'm not sure yet, Stormpaw. I'm just not sure. As soon as I know what's going on, I'll tell you." She gulped down a few more bites, leaving the rest for her apprentice. "DarkClan is rising, dear one. There seems to be no way to stop Icestar. But I have a feeling StarClan knows more than they've told me so far. Runningleaf will give me the knowledge I need. I only have to ask." She trailed off, staring at the ceiling.
DarkClan
Icestar laid down, trying to rest, but it felt like ants were crawling in her pelt. A horrible sense of foreboding overwhelmed her, but she pushed it away. She had always been good at that. Pushing things away.
"Come on, Icekit!" A tiny white kit giggled, taunting her to come play with him. "I'm coming, Bloodkit!" She bounded after the other kit, her mirror image except for his eyes. Suddenly he turned around and pounced, making her squeal in surprise. He landed only a whisker-length from where she was, and both kits broke into joyful laughter.Hopeflight stirred in her sleep, ears and nose twitching. It seemed she was almost awake when she was plunged back into the darkness of her dream.
Now she was in a starry forest, cats yowling happily around her. Her paws carried her away from them, and she watched their faces turn one by one to see her walk away. It grew quiet. "Do not be afraid, young one!" She whirled her head around, seeing a dark mottled tom in front of her. He smiled, age showing in the wrinkles around his eyes. "Come with me," he meowed, and she followed him into a secluded hollow of trees. Two more cats sat there, one ginger, one white. "It is surprising you have found your way here," the dark tom said, sitting down beside his companions and leaving her standing. "No one has come to visit us on their own in a long time." Hopeflight blinked. "Who are you? What is this place?"
(My goodness, Rose! And I thought I was stubborn.

I would say that you can post however much you want now, but I'm not sure I should say that. If you are going to post, try to post at least two cats at a time if they are postable and if you have two cats. A cat wouldn't be considered postable if it was in a conversation with another cat that hadn't answered yet. You can still post for that cat, but it would be a waste of space. I just want to make sure all cats possible are engaged in the roleplay.)
