WaterClan
Jayclaw padded through the forest and eventually arrived at WaterClan camp. There was a tree nearby and he leapt up onto the lowest branch and lay down. His tail dangled below the branch and it moved slowly back and forth.
(Is this ok?)

((Yes, your post has at least three sentences and has the Clan's name above it. Roseness approves! x3 Also, Tink, thanks for notifying us why you haven't been online-- I wish you kali tihi with the actual performance! n.n (Kali tihi - "Good luck.") Also, I think Dappleclaw is starting to come out in me! (Actually it is my natural personality to be rebellious. . .) My sister rudely ordered me to move from the spot where I was zoning out on the floor, wishing that I was writing at the moment and/or had a Monster. Of course, I didn't and told her that I wouldn't move from the spot tonight. She quarreled with me for a few more minutes, all of her attempts failed. I ended up spending the night on the floor in the same place, just because she told me not to. ;3
I'll try not to post much. Which, sadly, won't be very difficult due to my Writer's Block. You would think a night on the floor would cure it, but no. . .))
EarthClan
Lightwhisper purred back at him, "Okay, since you're so scared and want someone to ensure your safety that Icestar won't emerge from the shadows." She chuckled softly, despite her casual mention of the dreaded leader. She flicked the pale ginger tom playfully with her tail before abruptly trotting into the opening. The EarthClan she-cat's sensitive ears detected the soft pawsteps of her companions as they obediently padded after her. Still somewhat disoriented from sleep and her gentle quarrel with her friend, Lightwhisper tried to open up all her senses anyway. They had a job to do, and she would have to remember that, as difficult as it was at the moment.

(I can post now! Yay! In addition to being busy, I have had a case of chickensmoothieotisis. It is a rare disease that causes a person to lose interest in CS for two to three days. I have actually contracted this disease before, so I was able to fight it off faster than normal. Please let me know if anyone here ever gets this awful disease. I will understand. Yay! Now that I've got that out of my system, I can post. Thanks so much to Rose for watching the RP while I was gone this week. And welcome to our new member! I shall make up for my absense by posting every single one of my cats.)

FireClan
Tinkpetz wrote:Flameheart nodded happily and kept eating. "Do you have me on any patrols today, Bloodstar?" he mewed between bites. He was happy to go hunting or border patrolling, but he really didn't want to if he didn't have to. Best find out now.

Foxflame whirled around and laughed. "I have two cats talking to me at once!" He nudged the lava bird towards the medicine cat. "I just brought you some fresh-kill, Blacktail." He dipped his head to the tom and backed out of the den, running into Mudpaw. "Sorry, Mudpaw." Stepping away, he shook himself all over until his fur fluffed up. "There. Now I think I'm all woken up." He grinned down at his apprentice. "Let's go find Nightfire!" he meowed.

Nightfire dropped into a crouch and crept forward until she could see her target, its red and black feathers ruffling. Her claws were unsheathed, glinting in the sunlight. Suddenly, she leapt upwards, snagging her claws on the branch the bird was sitting on. She hissed in pain, but quickly noticed she had trapped one of the bird's feet under a paw. Her other paw flashed out, knocking the bird to the ground, momentarily stunned. She let go of the branch and dropped, landing painfully on all fours. Her jaws finally closed around the bird's neck and she sat down, weary from the struggle. "Ouch!" she hissed, looking her torn claws over. "This stupid bird was not worth my full set of claws!" She grabbed the bird and stomped back to camp, grumbling angrily all the way.

WaterClan
Rainstar smiled, watching the exchange between brother and sister. She dipped her head to Stonefur when he sat down beside her. "Yes, I did." She sat up straight, allowing her thoughts to collect. "There have been some problems with EarthClan and I wanted to go visit them today. I wanted to take you and maybe Pinefeather if she wants to go. We'll mainly be talking about trespassers and prey rights. EarthClan always has trouble in leaf-bare, and this time I wanted to discuss ways to help them before the snow hits. Anything to keep the peace," she finished, raising her eyes to look at him.

Silverleaf laughed. "We have to go tell Dawnsinger. No doubt she'll want to come!" The gray she-cat bounded on light feet towards the warriors den. Much to her surprise, Dawnsinger was not inside! "Hmm." She backed out, puzzled. Where could her friend be? "I guess we'll have to go look for her," she meowed, grinning down at Otterpaw. She was about to dash off into the forest when she noticed Jayclaw resting in a tree at the edge of camp. "Hi, Jayclaw!" she called up to the tom. "We're all going to the lake today. Are you coming?"

AirClan
Stormcall purred, rubbing against her. "It's been so long," he meowed softly, pulling away to gaze at her. "How are you? How is my sister?" He always made sure to ask about Silverleaf whenever Dawnsinger visited, knowing what a trouble-maker she was. He almost didn't care if his mate answered or not. He was too busy looking at her eyes. They were so blue, lighter than his, and they reminded the gray tom of the water.

Ashfeather grinned and yawned. "Let's go hunting," she meowed, caught up in the moment. "We'll tell Swiftstar we're the hunting patrol for today..." she trailed off, ideas blossomming in her clever mind.

Nightfeather smiled, knowing his mate was too busy thinking to speak. "I'll go ask her right now," he mewed softly, and padded towards the leader. "Swiftstar? Can Ashfeather and I be the hunting patrol today?" he asked timidly.

EarthClan
Earthpaw swallowed his last bite of fresh-kill and nodded enthusiastically at his mentor, his head snapping around when he heard movement from the warriors den. He listened carefully and then nodded some more until it felt like his head was going to fall off. "Let's go!" He bounded off after the two warriors, enjoying the dirt under his claws and the air rushing past his pelt as he ran, trying to keep up.

RockClan
Tinkpetz wrote:Marshpelt listened, laughing at the thought of Robinpaw wolfing down mouse after mouse. Whiterunner started to give an order and Marshpelt straightened and nodded. "Of course, Whiterunner. I'll go get her right now." He watched the deputy proceed to sit with Minkstar, and then he padded away to the apprentice den. "Robinpaw?" he said softly, not wanting to startle her.

IceClan
Nightfall breathed in deeply, letting the scents of the snow wash over him. He detected something warm just over the next hill. He couldn't tell what it was from here, but he knew it was another animal. Padding toward the hill, he kept breathing in, trying to figure out what it was that eluded his senses. The thought occured to him that whatever it was might not be friendly. The black tom's eyes glowed, ready to use the ice power given to him at his birth.

SunClan
Petalsong ate the lark quickly, so as to have more time for more important things. As soon as she was done, her face fell. She didn't have anything more important to do. Without Foxflame or Ashfeather, the days inched by, seeming endless. Oh, how she wanted her kits to be born.

Brightpaw yawned, her jaws stretching wide. Her bright blue eyes twinkled in the morning sunlight as she padded outside the shelter of the blueberry bush they used for an apprentice den. Being the medicine cat apprentice, she could have shared the medicine den with Flowerface, but the white she-cat liked being alone. The apprentice den was sure alone.

LeafClan
Heathersong sighed. She should have known better than to think she could hide something from Stormpaw. The apprentice was very perceptive. "It's about DarkClan." She faltered, not sure how to continue. "Even I'm not sure yet, Stormpaw. I'm just not sure. As soon as I know what's going on, I'll tell you." She gulped down a few more bites, leaving the rest for her apprentice. "DarkClan is rising, dear one. There seems to be no way to stop Icestar. But I have a feeling StarClan knows more than they've told me so far. Runningleaf will give me the knowledge I need. I only have to ask." She trailed off, staring at the ceiling.

DarkClan
Icestar laid down, trying to rest, but it felt like ants were crawling in her pelt. A horrible sense of foreboding overwhelmed her, but she pushed it away. She had always been good at that. Pushing things away.
"Come on, Icekit!" A tiny white kit giggled, taunting her to come play with him. "I'm coming, Bloodkit!" She bounded after the other kit, her mirror image except for his eyes. Suddenly he turned around and pounced, making her squeal in surprise. He landed only a whisker-length from where she was, and both kits broke into joyful laughter.

Hopeflight stirred in her sleep, ears and nose twitching. It seemed she was almost awake when she was plunged back into the darkness of her dream.
Now she was in a starry forest, cats yowling happily around her. Her paws carried her away from them, and she watched their faces turn one by one to see her walk away. It grew quiet. "Do not be afraid, young one!" She whirled her head around, seeing a dark mottled tom in front of her. He smiled, age showing in the wrinkles around his eyes. "Come with me," he meowed, and she followed him into a secluded hollow of trees. Two more cats sat there, one ginger, one white. "It is surprising you have found your way here," the dark tom said, sitting down beside his companions and leaving her standing. "No one has come to visit us on their own in a long time." Hopeflight blinked. "Who are you? What is this place?"

(My goodness, Rose! And I thought I was stubborn. I would say that you can post however much you want now, but I'm not sure I should say that. If you are going to post, try to post at least two cats at a time if they are postable and if you have two cats. A cat wouldn't be considered postable if it was in a conversation with another cat that hadn't answered yet. You can still post for that cat, but it would be a waste of space. I just want to make sure all cats possible are engaged in the roleplay.)

Fireclan

Blacktail spotted the fresh-kill Foxflame left him. "Thanks!" he called after him. Blacktail picked up the bird and went farther into his den. He dropped the bird and began to eat.

((EarthClan))
Emberclaw looked at his apprentice," Stay close to us. Icestar is known to always be in a foul mood." He padded forward and caught up to Lightwhisper. His ginger tail flicked from side to side and his light green eyes glowed with excitement.

((FireClan))
Mudpaw saw Nightfire and instantly bounded over to her feeling excited,"Your back! Now we can go!" He began running in circles chasing his tail,"I can't wait! This is going to be so much fun!" He soon grew dizzy and fell on his side.

(TINKPETZ IS BACK!!! YAYYYYYY!!! 8D )

WaterClan

Stonefur nodded. "I had been thinking about when the snow would come, and what would happen. Should I go ask Pinefeather if she wants to come? She may not want to miss out on the outing to the lake, but I could ask her." Stonefur offered, thinking about the warrior.

Otterpaw jumped around Jawclaw. "C'mon! It'll be fun!!!" she tried to persuade the young warrior. She didn't know if Stonefur would come or not, but she wanted to get as many cats to come. She hoped that she'd be able to get some time to test out her powers too.

LeafClan

Russetfur sat down, waiting. (Does Yewstar get on at all? D8 ) He yawned, still shaking off sleep and stayed in his sitting position. What was taking Yewstar so long? Maybe Russetfur would have to organize the patrols by himself, even if Yewstar did or had wanted certain patrols...

EarthClan
Lightwhisper nodded in agreement to Emberclaw's reasoning, her pale green eyes scanning the slightly shriveled trees for any signs of threats, DarkClan among the highest of her list. She automatically slowed her pace to allow Earthpaw to catch up with them. The three EarthClan cats padded onward in somewhat comfortable silence, each of them keeping a very close eye out for prey. She nearly stopped to ask the youngest tom what he smelled, then quickly reminded herself that that was for Emberclaw to do. Lightwhisper didn't have an apprentice just yet, as much as she wanted one. The young warrior flicked a glance at her companions, both of which who were alert and intent on sensing prey, Earthpaw still panting slightly.

FireClan
Bloodstar shook his head disagreeably. "No, I think you have done enough work recently." answered the leader. "You should rest for a while." At that moment, the sun's rays came at the white tom at just the right angle behind him and his fur, whiskers and ears appeared to be tipped with flames. He was sure it most have been quite an uncommon sight, but he disknowledged this fact and dug a small hole for the remains of the fresh-kill's carcass, nudged it inside, and scraped rich soil over it. He settled back again into a sitting position with his tail wrapped comfortably around his paws, his crimson gaze raking the majority of his Clan's camp while he watched aimlessly.

LeafClan
Stormpaw nodded, relieved that her mentor had chosen to tell her the truth. Trust was a valuable thing these days, even in her own Clan. "Perhaps there is an unrevealed prophecy, maybe a few chosen cats. You'll never know unless you ask, which you should do as soon as you can, I think. The quicker you know, the faster you can be sure and stop losing your fur over it." mused the apprentice before she quickly added, "And LeafClan may be assured sooner if you decide to tell them. DarkClan threatens each of the Clans and even life itself. They have greatly increased StarClan's ranks already. . ." Stormpaw quickly cut herself off, her soft voice rising gradually before she stopped abruptly. This was a sensitive subject to Heathersong, she knew, and it wouldn't make manners any better. The apprentice, her eyes wise beyond her years, hastily finished the rabbit. The sound of her eating filled the medicine cat's den, the only audible sound.

StarClan
Whiteblaze dipped his head to his half brother as he approached him and Fallstripe with the DarkClan she-cat, Hopeflight. He answered for Runningleaf, flicking his tail at each cat in turn, "The mottled cat who has brought you here is Runningleaf. The ginger tom is Fallstripe. I, myself, is Whiteblaze." He was careful not to reveal any excess information at the moment, especially the fact lurking in his appearance-- his pelt, body shape, even the way he held himself-- that the she-cat before him may find hauntingly familiar. " 'This place'," a sweep of his tail to indicate the whole of the starry airscape. (I suppose it would be called that instead of "landscape," since techinically they live in the stars. Or would that be "spacescape?" x3) "Is StarClan. The final resting place of most of the eight Clans' warrior anscestors. It is quite odd indeed," he cocked his head slightly, as if the white deputy were curious, "That you have come to us unassisted." Whiteblaze sank back down to his haunches as he gave Hopeflight some time to digest this information and answer.

WaterClan
"I'm fine, thanks, now that I'm with you." A tender smile crept across her silver-furred features. "And so is Silverleaf. She has an apprentice now, you know. Stonefur's sister. Perhaps she will be chosen to attend the next Gathering. And you, Stormcall?" Dawnsinger couldn't help but utter his name, like gentle rose petals across her tounge compared to the usual barbed thorns. (Now I'm really starting to concern myself. . . O.o (x3)) She nearly lost herself in her mate's eyes while he was doing so as well. His gaze was an immense lake as she delved into their almost metallic depths, and the occasional fleck of silver. . . The WaterClan warrior gently led herself back to reality, although her eyes continued to trace Stormcall's body; the broad line of his shoulders, every slight curve and line of his face, his tail curled elatedly over his body, and every other minute, familiar detail of the tom's being. "I love you," she blurted, then flushed under her pelt at her own abrubtness. (Poor Dawnsinger; she's overwhelmed. ;3 Just 'cause of that dang tomcat of yours, Tink! Intoxicating she-cats. . . Pfft! x3
I would write for my other cats, but I have to go. . . Happy pre-Easter to everyone who celebrates it! n.n Also, welcome back, Tink! I hope your play went well, since it seems you worked so hard on it. . . ? Hm, has anyone seen DogsCatsRule and Shadow? They haven't been very active recently.))

(I had a whole post typed out but it got deleted when I tried to post it. *sigh* I guess I'll try again. Thanks for the enthusiastic greeting, hdmwolf! xD And I did notice they haven't been active, but we'll just wait a couple of days before I PM them or anything.)

FireClan
Flameheart finished the prey and stood. Well, a nap couldn't hurt. The ginger tom padded back to the warrior den and curled up for a well-deserved rest.

Nightfire frowned and dropped the bird she had caught. "Now hold on a second! I just got my claws ripped up. Let me see Blacktail." She pushed her way to the medicine den and felt guilty for snapping at Mudpaw. "Blacktail?" she mewed, her voice weary. "Can you take a look at my claws?"

Foxflame stopped walking, a paw raised in midair as he listened to Nightfire snap. "It's okay, Mudpaw," he meowed, recovering quickly. "If Nightfire can't go, we'll just go by ourselves."

WaterClan
Rainstar nodded. "That would be great, thanks. And while you're there, could you ask her for some traveling herbs? I don't want to have to eat on EarthClan territory."

AirClan
Stormcall barely heard her reply. Dawnsinger's eyes rippled and twinkled like the surface of a river. He noticed her pelt become rosy and pink and he was pulled out of his reverie by three simple words. She was blushing, which made the gray tom smile. "I love you, too."

EarthClan
Earthpaw nodded and unsheathed his claws, digging them into the ground. The dirt helped his senses, but he still wasn't able to smell any prey. He took a few steps away from the group and tried again, ears twitching back and forth. Finally he found something. There was scuffling underground, probably a nest of shrews or voles. "Emberclaw. Over here," he whispered.

IceClan
Nightfall crept carefully over the hill, pausing to see what was on the other side. It was white, like the snow around it. Scarlet drops were spattered on the snow around it. The cream fluffy body of a rabbit lay beside it. Nightfall froze and crept backwards, but it was too late. It had found him.

LeafClan
Heathersong nodded, listening to her apprentice's words. She knew she had to talk to StarClan soon, but how? "Stormpaw, I'd like you to come with me to the Moonrock today. What better place to speak with StarClan?"

DarkClan
Icestar tried to push the memories away, but they had already taken hold. It was too late to stop the rushing remembrance now.
A white kit stood in front of her, his face set. "Why don't you have any powers?" he meowed softly, lips curling into a sneer. He laughed cruelly, crimson eyes glinting. The laugh reminded her of her own. "Why do you have powers?" she retorted, not nearly as softly. "Why are your eyes red and mine blue? Why does the sun rise and fall?" Her voice rose as she got worked up. "Why do you think you're so special, Bloodkit? Just because you can burn ants doesn't mean you'll be the greatest warrior in the forest!" But she wanted him to be. He lowered his gaze, humbled by her words. Icekit's heart hurt; she had to let it out. "Why do we have to be related?"

StarClan
Hopeflight gaped, eyes wide as she looked over her surroundings. "But how did I get here? Do you think my mother helped me? I was dreaming about her before I came here."

Runningleaf glanced at his companions before turning back to Hopeflight. "Yes, that's possible." The young cat had power, but she didn't know it yet. Was it right to tell her? "Since you're here, is there anything you might need of us? Advice maybe?"

The pretty she-cat thought for a moment, but it didn't take long for a question to come to her. "How can I escape Icestar?" she asked, shoulder's squaring.

Runningleaf smiled. So she was smart, too. "That, I cannot tell you yet. You must find it in your heart."

Hopeflight frowned, confused. They wanted questions, but they wouldn't give any answers! "Why can't you tell me?"

FIRECLAN
Blacktail had only taken a bite of his bird when he heard Nightfire behind him. "Yes I'll look." he replied, and turned towards her. He beckoned her inside. Blacktail gently lifted Nightfire's paw and inspected it. The middle claw was bleeding, and so was the end one. He let go, and lifted the other, only the end right one was bleeding. "Let me get some herbs for these." he replied, and went back to where the herbs were stored, he sniffed through until he found some Marigold leaves. He gently picked a few, and brought them out to Nightfire. He chewed them up, lifted her paws again, and carefully dabbed the poultice on the base of her claws. He then clawed some cobwebs out of a tiny corner in his cave, and carefully matted them around her claws. "Just try not to hunt until tomarrow. Or get your claws caught somewhere, or anything like that. You dont want to get them completly ripped out." He meowed, and let go of her paws.

FireClan
Nightfire breathed deeply and followed Blacktail's movements with her eyes. When he was done treating her claws, she licked her paws gingerly. "Can I go with Foxflame and Mudpaw to the fire-mountain today, or would that be too hard on my claws?" she asked.
