"No. I am not future king," He began, regaining his voice, "Kovu is. My father chose that little squirt to be princess and left me. He forgot me. He didn't care anyway. Vitanni... we can run away together, have our own family, make our own pride.... a pride where not everyone hates us."

"Kopa, you don't mean that." Vitani said, trying to find reason in what he was saying. "The smoke and flames, your head is still cloudy. You don't know what you are saying." Even through Vitani tried to understand is Kopa really meant what he was saying, she found what he had been telling her intriguing.
