Riverstorm selected a mouse for himself, for he wasn't that hungry. He supposed he would eat later if necessary. He felt as though he had eaten too much the night before, and therefore he was still feeling the effects of last nights meal. His ears flicked and he lifted his head. He had not yet met all of the clan cats, for he wasn't very social. He had once been a bright and chatty young tom, but his past had morphed him into the cat he was now, which necessarily wasn't a bad thing, he simply was not as open and talkative. He allowed his tail a few lashes from side to side, before stretching out in a patch of sunlight. His eyes narrowed against the beams, and his obsidian coat gleamed. He kicked his long back legs out to one side and allowed his chest a few licks

Dawnpaw licked her paw yawning in the sunlight. Her pelt came alive with silver ripples and she lay there, yawning. Streaching her paws she got up and padded over to Riverstorm, eating a mouse. "Hi Riverstorm. Wanna go out hunting?" She purred. Dawn noticed that he wasn't a very talkative cat, but she hoped that hunting would cheer him up.

Riverstorm looked up as the apprentice approached him. His ears flicked indecisively as he listened to her offer of a hunting trip. Although he had just been out, he supposed it would be a good idea, and besides, there wasn't much for him to do here, and he hated to turn down the young cat. So instead he stood, and shook out his long coat. "Why not?" he murmured in a friendly way, before arching his back and stretching out. He stifled a yawn, and motioned towards the entrance with his tail.

[I'm just gonna say that Lightpaw gave her some herbs and made her feel better, etc.] She padded out of the medicine den, the scent of herbs clinging to her silver and black pelt. She spotted Riverstorm, her eyes lighting up slightly as warmth filled her from ears to tail tip. For some reason she could not fathom, she enjoyed the large, black tom's company, though she told herself just as a friend. Whether that was true or not, I cannot tell. (>.> Hehe.) Padding over to a spot on the edge of camp, she plopped down, smiling and flicking her ear.
Having nothing else to do, sitting there, she began to groom herself, her pink tongue gliding smoothly over her silky silver pelt, though every once in awhile, she glanced up at the camp entrance. Upon cleaning her pelt until it gleamed, the dust and caked on mud from her hunting trip now dissapeared, she stretched her front paws out, letting herself fall into a lying position, and twitched her whiskers, watching the bustling activity of the camp.

Dawn dropped into a hunter's crouch and slowly stalked her way through the undergrowth to the bush. Quickly she leaped over some branches and crushed the rabbit with her jaws. "What do you think?"

Riverstorm glanced over in time to see Venomfrost settle herself down. He dipped his head in acknowledgment, but then was swallowed up the the entrance tunnel, his tail flicking slightly before it too, disappeared from view. His ears flicked, and he watched with a slight smile as the apprentice bounded off and caught the rabbit. He briefly wondered if she was close to becoming a warrior. About to ask, he noticed a bird perched on a lower limb of a nearby tree. On silent paws he padded forward, and began to climb, the muscle and sinew showing under his black glossy pelt. He reached the limb and hauled himself off, careful to keep still so the limb would not shake. He crept closer and closer, but the bird began to fly from the tree. With a quiet yowl, he launched himself off the branch and into the air after the bird. He just barely snagged it's body with his claws, and dragged it down with him as he fell.

She sighed as she watched Riverstorm until only his tail tip was visible, then he was swallowed up completely by the shadows of the tunnel. Flicking her ears back in boredom, she rolled onto her back, letting her paws stretch up into the air, her soft white belly fur being blown gently by the breeze. She layed there, her aquamarine eyes idely watching the sky, clouds whisping by.
She wondered what to do. Should she go hunting? Nah, she just got back from hunting, and that had only gotten her a sore back. Perhaps she'd go on a walk down by the river, perhaps swim a tad. Shrugging, she rolled over and stood back up, shaking her clean, silver pelt out. Padding slowly towards the tunnel, she swished her tail, narrowing her eyes as she entered the shady forest. The sun warmed her fur and she couldn't help but pur softly as she walked along, her pawsteps leaving small, delicate imprints in the soil behind her.
