Blake yelped and bit Aces left rear paw.

Ace turned around and pushed Blake down. "Ryuu is mine, Blake. Back off. I won't let you near her if you're going to attack me when I get close to you." Ace growled, the warning and threat clear.

Blake growled a warning, then went to the lake. He couldn't believe he was bleeding horribly, and Ace barely a scratch.

Ace shook himself, watching Blake walk away. What a fool. You don't mess with those with my blood... blood of the Kani's... We are born fighters, with the right parents of course. Yet we don't get to choose our mates... I have broken that rule. Ace thought.

Blake layed dying next to the lake.
