First you'll walk with a large limp, that limp will decrease within a few months, and then you can walk, but take it easy, and after about six months you'll be fine as long as everything heals correctly." he said. He smiled, hoping to comfort them. "You're young and healthy goat, Grapefruit. You'll be okay." Hopefully. he thought. She was young and healthy, but she had a big fall, and the impact could have caused extreme damage to a younger creature.

Equinox arose from his 3 week long slumber. He sat up, still drowsy from his 21 day sleep, and let out a massive yawn that shook the ground around him. A satisfactory nap, he thought, stretching out his wings. It was one the best parts of his day, stretching out his wings every morning; he loved the feeling of all that stiffness.. evaporating into the air. He walked to the opening of his large cave and looked out at the forest below. His cave was just over 1400 feet up, unreachable for any human that tried to catch a glimpse of his treasure. There hadn't been a single human for months. Must've scared 'em all off, he thought proudly. He puffed out his chest with pride, flattened his wings to his sides, and dove. He shot downward like an arrow for a good 200 feet, before spreading his wings and catching the wind beneath him, he stopped his descent and glided forward. Equinox flew for around 25 minutes, before something caught his attention; he heard lots of rustling below and checked to see what all the commotion was about. The massive reddish dragon angled his wings downward and lowered himself to about 10 feet above where all the rustling and noise came from. He saw a green dog, a tiny golden puffball with spots and.. a DRAGON?! Equinox was shocked. He hadn't seen another dragon in decades! He had to meet this one, it might be his only chance. He flew a bit further as not to startle them, thumped down on the forest floor, and began to approach.
