She watched them go, eyes brimming with sadness. She wished there was more she could do for the two young kits, but for now, she'd let them play, keeping a close eye on all four kits as best she could.

Spiderkit squealed happily, letting Thornkit run then giving chase, easily jumping and pinning the smaller tom-kit down. He burst out laughing, rolling onto the dusty ground beside his new littermate. 'Wow, you're a great mouse!' he teased, poking Thornkit with a paw.

Female, 2 Years, 2 Months. Tags : Nightscar.

Silverstar enjoyed the warmth of Nightscar on her muzzle. “ I love you, too. “ She told him. Her thoughts wandered as she remembered her father, Birchnose. His death came to her mind. What if we loose another cat to greencough? she thought, and shuddered at the thought of his limp body. Don’t be mouse-brained, of course we will. It’s just how life works. she realized.

Dapplepool
Female, 1 Year, 2 Months. Tags : Dovetail, Creamkit.

After Tigerpaw helped Dapplepool treat her wounds, she left the medicine den, and entered the nursery, and looked at Dovetail. “ Much easier with one, hmm? “ she said, jokingly to the gray she-cat. As Dovetail was the only queen in the nursery, she had to foster 3 kits in total. Though she seemed to take a liking to them, she seemed a more wore out than when she only had Spiderkit. Dapplepool considered Dovetail as a close friend. “ How is Creamkit’s scratch healing? Is it infected? “ she asked Dovetail.

Thornkit
Male, 1 Month. Tags : Spiderkit

Thornkit puffed up his Kit-Fluff. “ i’m going to be the best warrior in StreamClan one day! I ran slowly, because that’s how fast mice run. Or, maybe both of us could be tied as the best warrior. I don’t want to hurt your feelings. “ he told Spiderkit, pretending he wasn’t trying his hardest. He liked to talk with Spiderkit, as he didn’t tease him for sharing his opinion.

Dapplepool nodded, and gave him some honey. “ It doesn’t look to me like you have greencough, if that’s what you’re worried about, it’s not cold enough for that to happen. I think, that with all the pollen of the new plants, your throat is getting irritated, and sore. “ she meowed. As Nightscar lapped up the sweet concoction, she padded back to the herb store, and put the remaining honey back to it’s place.

Dovetail laughed as Dapplepool entered, nodding her head. 'A lot easier with one, but I wouldn't change any of them for all of StarClan.' Then, she carefully checked Creamkit. 'I think it's healing well, doesn't look too bad. Go check Nightscar.' As the medicine cat left, Dovetail heard the small kit's question. 'Of course we can play. Make sure you don't tire yourself out too much.' She settled into a comfortable position and watched the kit play with her tail, amused.

Spiderkit didn't seem hurt. 'Yeah! We're gonna be the two best warriors in the entire world! Even better than StarClan!' he puffed his chest out proudly, brimming with excitement. 'The Clan will never go hungry and it'll be great!' He was so excited - two more moons and he'd start apprentice training!
