the femmora sauntered out of the apprentices den she scrutinized her three den mates and then her brother, who lay alone in the camp. she trudged over to him, her eyes glowing with anticipation. she laid down next to him "have you trained with your mentor yet?" she interrogated, already knowing the answer. she knew her brother was strenuous to keep up a conversation with. so she tried her best to think up something of interest.

His ears perked up at the sound of his sister's voice. Without needing to look up, he responded in a monotonous tone, "I have not yet been assigned a mentor." He cared about his siblings dearly and respected Willow's wishes, but he simply found it unnecessary to speak with his fellow apprentices. If they require something of him, they would speak with him first. He sighed and spoke again, "How were you last moonfall?"

she was taken aback at the fact that her brother had actually replied. "oh, I was wonderful!" she meowed happily, that was only half true, sure she was well at moonhigh, but she did not get enough rest when the sun shone- but of course, that was her own fault. "how were you?" the fae asked politely.

His nose twitched slightly at his sister's reply. After all, she had yawned deeply whilst emerging from her den this morning, he had noticed. "I'm fine. Might you know of what the other apprentices are up to?" He asked, actually looking up to face his sister. At her sudden seemingly-happy mood, he felt a wave of relief flood over his body. It wasn't often that she wasn't stressing out over one thing or another.
