Fire tries to look comforting, but wasn't sure if he'd succeeded. He relaxed his mind, allowing her memories to reach his mind. The memories were frightening, and proved that she was dangerous, but she certainly wasn't a monster. At least, he didn't see her as one. Once the memories of hers faded to an end, he shifted back onto his haunches, sitting down. Dusk made her way over to sit beside him, closing her eyes and touching her shoulder to his. They both had to concentrate, together, to transfer memories from one to the other, and then to another wolf. He hadn't commented on Remorse's memories, but he did speak a soft warning to the other fae. " My ability is very strong... If.. If it hurts -- tell me. " he shifted uncomfortably for a moment, and then pressed his sister's memories into Remorse's mind.
The vision of two large figures walking on two legs, carrying two adults wolves and four pups by the tail, walking away, and a black and red wolf pup hiding in the shadows was visible from Dusk's point of view. The red and black pup stood then, hackles rising as the red and burgundy on it's pelt began to flicker orange -- and then was completely engulfed in flames. Dusk had ran forward -- it was noticeable from how the point of view bobbed and the surroundings shifted to move past. The surroundings were burning -- blazing brightly, almost blindingly -- and the movement forward stopped, to only reverse.
The memory faltered for a moment, flickering, as Dusk took a breath. It continued.
Dusk was burning -- you could feel the heat of the flames on her pelt -- and then the memory flickered out, replaced by a different point of view. It was blurry and dark, as though the one's point of view was darkening for them. You could see Dusk's pup form lying on the forest floor, her dark pelt flickering with dying flames, and then you could, vaguely, see the figures of multiple wolves bolting through the flames. You could hear the howls, and then a soft voice -- the voice of a girl, speaking Lupine. The girl looked to be about thirteen, dressed in the pelts of deer. A large black wolf stood at her side, silver eyes practically glowing. The wolf had picked Dusk up, and the girl had lifted Fire. From where Fire was, in the human girl's arms, you could see Dusk's burnt fur becoming fluffy again, the burns on her shoulders and face disappearing completely. The flames -- the blinding brightness returned as the point of view shifted again, back to Dusk. Many wolves -- not wolves, but shadows of them -- ran to and fro through the flames, dousing them with darkness and dirt.
The memory disappeared, and Fire had to physically wrench himself away from his sister's side, drawing a heavy and shaky breath. Dusk was lying down, her green eyes closed. She hadn't thought of the memory for nearly two years, and seeing it all over again was scary.
" Are-- are you okay? " Fire asked after a few moments.
Alpha* wrote:Tempest picks up a 'Net' of fish, all large enough to satisfy with a little water to keep them fresh and makes her way back to camp. "Storm, here are your fish." she says when she makes it to the front of his den. The fish flop uselessly as they try to get away in the dust. "Arise brother, the night is before us. And you have the strengthening herbs to eat as well. Hurry, moonhigh is close." She turns and disappears.
Storm carefully maintains the shields around his mind. It wouldnt do for her to Know, would it? The dark Alpha male snaps up the bitter herbs, which hit his stomach with a hollow Thud and then eats his fish. By the time he reaches the MoonLedge, he would be empty and weakening. When the food is gone he slakes his thirst with a lap at the water that had come with the fish. "Farewell Pack. My sister...i leave you in charge." a smile as he sends it mentally to each of his packmates, and he is gone.

Cass had been sitting on the MoonLedge for some time now, his bright violet eyes closed against the winds that blew sand into his face. He wasn't sure how long he'd been here, but he knew it had been a while. He opened his eyes to figure out what time it was, seeing that the moon was nearly at it's highest point in the sky. It'd been nearly three hours, then. The winged wolf allowed himself to standing, moving away from the MoonLedge, his golden pelt glimmering in the moonlight as he padded slowly away from the spot.
