Winterbreeze returned to GustClan's camp, careful to not be seen by any of her former Clanmates, and slipped into the nursery. She picked up a sleeping Wickerkit and snuck back out into the forest, with her kit hanging from her jaws. Winterbreeze set him down next to her once she crossed the GustClan border, panting. I'll never return to GustClan, no matter what happens. she told herself, and fell asleep almost the moment she curled up around Wickerkit.
