He looked back at her with a semi-shocked, semi-estatic expression. "You mean that?" He said, letting the tip of his tail lie flatly over hers. He purred very softly, then licked her ears and looked at the now darkish blue sky. The stars were beginning to come out, and he looked up at them with admiration.

He still wanted Finchwing to be his mate, especially now, but he couldn't find the courage to ask her yet. He feared what she would say... Though he was surely going to ask her sooner on. It clawed at his insides as if he accidently swalled a sharp bone, and he wanted to ask. Badly. Still something held him back... He looked at her, and sadness rolled over him. Why couldn't he just SAY IT?

"Stonesight. I really care for you and i want to believe that i have a spot in your heart........but the only way for me to know would be for me....." she twined her tail in his and then whispered "Would you be my mate?" Moving back she looked at him with her heart pounding

Stonesight's eyes brightened with shock, and he looked back at her with his jaw half open. "Wha-?" He smiled so wide and uncontrollably, it hurt. "Um... Lemme think about that. YES?" He said jokefully, licking her forehead afterwards. His neck fur stood on end with both horror, and happiness.

Her heart fluttered with utter happiness and uncontrollable joy but she tried her best to stay calm. "I'll stay with you forever." she promised him as she nuzzled him with great affection.

He purred a loud, satisfied purr as Finchwing nuzzled him, then realized he felt... No unhappiness. It just brought up his mood even more. He sort of yawned then mewed to her. "Hey... I'm kind of tired after today..." He looked at the warriors den, not wanting this moment to end, but his exhaustion weighed him down.
