Rainkit trotted over to Cinderclaw and frowned, "my mom is gone. Did you see my dad anywhere?"

Cinderclaw looked down at the two kits. "Soon, my sweet." She promised, licking the kit's head, before turning to rain kit. "I'm sorry but I haven't, you are welcome to play in here." She told the kit, looking at the nursery.

Rainkit looked at the three, "what are your names?"

"Sure!" Mudpelt said.

Spiritstar called to the patrols, "alright, Breezefur will lead his patrol one way and my patrol will go another. Breezefur's will distract the rats will mine will attack. We will each tell you how to handle rats once we're nearly there. Any questions before we go?"

Frostbelly looked at Dewfur, "ready?"

Cinderclaw smiled. "I am Cinderclaw, those two are my kits; remedykit and Nightkit."

Mintleaf piped up and inquired, "the medicine cats will be nearby, correct?"

"Correct," responded Breezefur to his half-brother's question

Mintleaf nodded

Rainkit asked, "which is which?" He pointed to the darker-furred kit with his tail, "is that one Nightkit? What do you guys want to be when you grow up?" He asked to the two other kits

(The only active medicine cat is Rowanpaw. In Ravenclan the meddies were very inactive so poor Applefall the elder who happened to be a medicine cat had to do all the work. Thankfully someone signed up for meddie and one of sandy's characters is going to be meddie apprentice.)

Dewfur smiled too.
